I love Than and the way he’s handling Akin suddenly coming back into his life. Akin left him—just vanished one day with no explanation. I can’t imagine how much that hurt, and clearly it still does. But instead of shutting down or running from it when they cross paths again, Than goes, “No. What you did sucked. I deserve an explanation.” And then proceeds to pull full Looney Tunes–level antics to get the truth out of him.
I don't remember any dixk grabbing in Titanic
I love their awkward almost-reunions and the past that haunts them both in different ways but also the present that they cannot escape because now they're both together again. They're both still in love... but are they ready to face it together again?
Aw man is the little dumbass with serious trust issues upset?
You deserve it. You fumbled this baddie years ago when you let your friends convince you to abandon your boyfriend with zero solid evidence of any wrongdoing on his part.
(I know Than isn’t actually hooking up with Nat but goddamn atp I kinda wish he was. He has every right to.)
Reloved ( Thailand, 2025 ) EP11
Peter Paratthakorn as Than Golf Kunavut as Akin

The tumblr tag for Reloved is being pretty ungenerous to Akin and the show as a whole :(
Imma assume people are doing fun live reactions and not analysis, the latter of which we would all agree to acknowledge he's a character with a narrative purpose and not an actual human being we need to judge. So I just want to defend him from a personal stance that will lean a little analytical cuz I'm a nerd at heart, even in my social life.
My heart goes out to Akin who's so overruled by his own insecurity and hurt. He sees this confident and popular younger fitness gay, and its nearly impossible for Akin to believe Than wants to stay monogamous with him instead of exploring all that's available to him in his prime. And he keeps getting all these signs that Than is exploring, some planted with bad intention by outside parties and others coincidental.
He reminds me of Anne Elliot in Persuasion, whose temperament, self-esteem, and outside influences sway her away from her own heart, only to come face-to-face with him again along with her regrets years later.
When he finally gets the call about Than's child, he's so primed to believe it. Akin's been preparing for the devastation, which rather than easing the pain makes it hurt worse. He can't even face it head on, and besides he thinks he's been lied to repeatedly for over a year. Why should he believe Than will admit things now? If he did, Akin believes he would have to hear Than say out loud what Kin most fears and believes to be true about himself: he doesn't deserve to be loved.
Yes, he should talk it out, but that's so much easier said than done. And if you have never gone through an experience where you avoided a hard discussion out of pain and fear, I'd consider you extremely fortunate. Instead, Akin shuts down and closes off. It's not the right thing to do, but it's very human. Most of him wants to move on, but another part of him can't. He becomes the caregiver for who he believes to be Than's child, keeping a part of Than with him to offer love to. Would I recommend this for real life? No, but it's a beautiful and cute addition to the story.
They'll talk it out soon enough. Than is far too devoted to avoid it forever (which is why we all love him so much). Akin doesn't know as we do, truly how devoted, but he'll soon find out what we all know. Perhaps, too, if my suspicions are right, he'll find out someone gave Meya the wrong name and number on that one night stand...maybe a certain Casanova photographer mentioned in passing to have known Than in college, who claimed he has no belongings this past episode...little does he know.
I love Akin because his reactions are relatable (albeit dramaticized). I expect to feel so satisfied wants everything's cleared up so that he can see Than clearly. Than and Akin are so right for each other because Akin desires someone as devoted as Than, and Than loves pulling him in from the edges of his anxieties towards joy and pleasure. Reloved: to be loved again.
