To me the reason the lady noir dynamic is Like That is bc: a) Marinette Dupain Cheng aka Ladybug is a closet total control freak and the confidence from being Ladybug makes her more comfortable taking charge and she would actually really benefit from a partner who was more active in strategising with her and lift some of the burden of being the one everyone looks to every fight and was willing to call her out/really challenge her on things, and b) Adrien Agreste aka Chat Noir was literally created to follow orders and even at his most rebellious he's still most comfortable deferring to somebody else and he would probably actually benefit from having a partner that prompted him for his input and thoughts on things and that doesn't just assume he'll speak up if he has something to say. Tldr they're both enabling each others behaviour by sticking to what they're more comfortable with and (over time for Maribug) used to.
Not that this is necessarily a good or bad thing, but if ur going to argue that their dynamic is unbalanced/unhealthy by saying that either Ladybug is too controlling/elevates herself above cn or that Chat Noir is lazy/incompetent/doesn't put in the work, I would argue there's much more compelling ways to deal with potential toxicity in their unbalanced partnership than purely blaming it on one or the other.
Basically I think more people should really dive into the codependency issues these two could/do absolutely have.
