Definition of what I mean by imprint: it’s like love at first sight, it means the phoenix will do anything snd everything it it’s power to protect the person it imprints on. The phoenix always has the need to be near the chosen person, sleeping, sitting, etc. The phoenix protects this person with its life. So basically like an intense love at first sight thing that non-devil fruit phoenixes have.

Marco

•Marco would be fascinated by the natural love instinct that non-devil fruit phoenixs have, seeing as he doesn’t experience it himself

•Wants to learn more

•Worried about the “protects this person with its life like thing because he doesn’t want you to lose your life because of him

•Takes this as a huge compliment and feels immensely flattered

•Now understands why you always seem to be around him not only in battle, but just throughout the whole day
