Hey there! Can you explain / expand on what made you categorise Waverly Earp as an ENTJ? I've been thinking about her type as I've been watching the series and she strikes me more as an ISFJ or possibly an INFP.
The first thing that struck me about Waverly’s personality is that she’s really outgoing and excitable, she likes to communicate with and involve herself with people (E).
The second thing was that Waverly comforts herself with knowledge (NT). She quickly becomes the researcher of the team, the one who takes an academic interest in things. Dolls and Wynonna both respect this about her, and she’s the one they turn to when they need a plan (NJ/TJ). Waverly is a warm and friendly person, but facts and research are what she turns to for keeping her world in order.
And the third thing is that while Waverly plans ahead by gathering as much knowledge as she can, she is very mutable (NJ over SJ). She thinks well on her feet, and she rolls with the punches. She sees the new solution as the situation changes and follows through, such as in her dealings with the Stone Witch.
ENTJs also have tertiary Se, which I think asserts itself in the way that Waverly can sometimes be impulsive. When a situation is fraught or urgent, she’s not exactly in her element but she doesn’t shut down; she reacts. When it comes to her relationship with Nicole, for example, at first she’s confused and hesitant, but when she realizes and acknowledges the attraction, she’s quick to act on it.
I can see why Waverly might seem like a feeler, because she’s not bad at feelings, but they’re not what she turns to for comfort. She also has that need to help and be useful like ISFJs are famous for, and she’s not overtly bossy. Extraverted TJs are usually seen as hardasses, but there are loads of them who are like Waverly in that they are charming, friendly, and eager. And note that when Wynonna is reluctant to take up Peacemaker, it’s Waverly who pushes her to it. She knows that it’s something that needs to be done and that Wynonna is capable of the responsibility even when Wynonna doesn’t think so. Overall I think she’s an outgoing knowledge-seeking Rational who likes to have information and a plan but is also flexible and not overwhelmed by surprises. Thus, ENTJ.
