"it's so sweet, knowing that you love me."
multi-BLLK characters x male!reader
: itoshi sae, itoshi rin, michael kaiser, and nagi seishiro.
warnings : OOC, shoujo-esque(?), yearning, pure fluff, male!reader, reader is implied to be twink-ish and short, reader is implied to be oblivious and dense, characters yearning and so on.
itoshi sae
sae doesn't like greasy food. it's obvious. being an athlete has cost. although he loved those kind of meals, he just couldn't indulge. everyone knew that but you.
you came in his life. you were rin's friend in the academy. you decided to befriend sae because you valued rin and his feelings.
you were.. loud. you were cheerful. you were bright. sae had to adjust.
you made him stir-fried shredded cabbages with mushroom. he liked it, odd but it's good. that time, sae didn't mind holding back. you didn't judge him, didn't give him exact digits of the calories he's absorbing, just let him eat and enjoy.
somehow, the connection deepened. it was the first day of december when he realized his feelings. he didn't fought it.
every friday, sae takes a day off and accompanies you to the market as you buy your stocks of vegetables, fruits and meat.
and after grocery trip, you always take him to this restaurant you love. sae was astounded when he saw what this restaurants serves but more shocked when he saw how happy you were while ordering such amounts.
giant bowl of fries, burgers with multiple patties glistening and cheese oozing. a regular rice is the size of a medium bowl. their salad? it has big chunks of glistening roasted pork.
he was.. scared. the amount of meat and oil? it felt like a torture.
until you pulled out a big tupperware of perilla leaves and a small tupperware of the salad you make—sae's favorite. lots of greens, less dressing.
for the very first time, sae let himself indulge. seeing you happy because he's trying the food you love.. it's more than enough for him.
you made sure he didn't eat too much. he appreciated that.
he ate fries and burgers with your care. it was addicting.
since then, sae always look forward for fridays to come.
itoshi rin
rin hated the pink color. it's too.. bright for him. it's his big brother's color. never in his life he thought he'd hate colors but here he is.
then you came. you had this weird fascination towards the said color. you dyed your hair pink, had your nails done with the same color and even shows up with this tiny pink heart sticker on your cheek.
at first, rin was weirded out. how can a person be so.. pink?
soon, he got used to it. after practice, you'd walk with him—carrying pink duffle bag and pink tumbler. he never expected himself to listen to your random, ridiculous side quests. but he didn't mind, the way you smile while telling it.. he would hum, to make sure you're assured that he's still listening. he'd slow his steps to match yours.
he never minded the color again. because now, you're pink. not his big brother.
it was october fourth when he realized his feelings for you. irrevocably. undeniably.
one time, he wore a pink sweater because you told him you've always wanted to try dressing like those girls in Mean Girls.
he remembered how such wide smile made its way on your face, you said you were just shocked because he wore pink.
rin carved your smile in his brain.
since then, whenever you asked him to come along with you, he wore pink because you always smile and laugh.
he always made sure you won't see his smile whenever he hears your laugh.
michael kaiser
michael craved contact. he never experienced one as why he secretly longs for it.
but he doesn't want it from everyone. not even alexis.
no one knows but michael is a hopeless romantic.
he yearns those soft whispering in the quiet night. the shared soft gaze while there's a crowd. the reaching for hand under the table. the sacrifices. the assurances. the affection. michael wanted those.
then, there was you.
sweet, oblivious and dense you.
somehow, michael found you odd. how can this.. person be the same monster in the field? you ram everyone out your way but off field? you're this sweet thing that always smiles at him.
it was july sixteenth, clear as a day for michael.
the coach decided to buy jugs of milk.
michael had a history involved with.. milk.
he hid his hands in the pocket of his hoodies, his fists clenched tight, almost white with how tight.
he remembered a certain man. getting mad at him. beating him.
and then he felt a hand on his shoulder, he glanced down. you.
you asked if he's lactose intolerant. michael just.. nodded. you smiled at him and told him not to participate, that he can have your tacos.
you talked to the coach, lying to the man that you didn't know that one of the jugs was for michael and that you already drank half of it. michael heard the coach scold you. he expected you to be mad at him since the coach terribly scolded you but when you came back, you just smiled and gave him the plate of tacos.
then, it bloomed to michael. he let it bloom and grow.
he noticed and read everything about you. how you eat. how you laugh. how you tend to lose it and come back after few seconds.
then another thing. when one looks at you for full three seconds, you seem to notice.
so michael settled for 2.5 seconds. always.
nagi seishirou
seishirou is good at studies. it was obvious. he excelled and always ranked one.
he never struggled.
school is an easy thing to achieve, he doesn't get why students cry for it.
until you came. reo's younger brother.
you were reo's opposite. you don't excel at everything like reo does but one thing seishirou knew, you liked cooking.
it was one of those days again. you barged in his because you left the mansion.
you told him that you just wanted a place to sleep for a while. that your parents got mad at you for.. such grades.
you were smiling while telling it to him, you even opened two bags of chips. one for you. one for him.
seishirou didn't understand you. how can you not be good at studies? reo's your brother, just a rank below seishirou. yet you aren't excelling.
you told him that you didn't get the same education assistance that reo had. you didn't get tutors. you didn't have books. you didn't experienced the same thing reo did. you didn't experience having one of your parents spend a day with you.
seishirou listened. you told him you don't attend the same school reo and he did. you attend a public school.
no words left seishirou. he just listened and nodded.
until that one day. he found you skating around his block. uniform rumpled. blood seeping out your nose and your bag broken.
he asked what happened. you just told him you failed another math test, that your parents got mad at you and.. decided to throw you out the house.
it broke something in him. he asked where reo was when things happened.
you just smiled, "they always tell reo to leave the house and spend money. we have this schedule. reo comes home by 2 pm and I come around 5 pm. before 5 pm, my teacher would tell my parents which subject I failed again and they'll send reo out.. he doesn't know what happens."
seishirou sat down beside you, this time, not opening his phone to play.
he asked for your activity book, to see which part you struggled. pre-calculus.
seishirou said he knew someone who tutors for free. when he saw how thrilled you get, he nodded to himself.
the next day, the tutor came with books.
seishirou noticed something. you tend to blank out when someone watches you work. you fumbled whenever the tutor watch you solve the problem.
so, seishirou did something. he pretended he's struggling too. so, you wouldn't feel alone and pressured.
and it always works.
