I'm crashing out about the House of Spiders Apprentices. Especially the idea of what if they were friends before their deaths?

You know why I like the idea of the apprentices being besties/dating each other? A "those not erased by Arayashiki survives" AU.

Imagine Albina and Kira in recovery, talking together while the lingering feeling of something, someone missing between them. A shy voice and the faint memory of cute glasses accompanying a forgotten face

Imagine Lucio looking up to the ceiling, trying to remember why, despite all his time being terrible, he remembers someone who managed to make him laugh (I hc that Lucio finds Ren's way of speaking amusing) and gentle hands helping with his wounds

Imagine them, finally recovered, being checked for their motorics by sparring or something, and they're doing one where they're all attacking everyone. As in a 1v1v1. Albina dodges a non-existent attack, because they used to do stuff like this a lot back in the house, but it's five and not just three. They remember each other's attacks like a dance

Albina dodged a nonexistent hit that would've been where Ren would've aimed to attack. The body remembers.

Kira feeling that she used to have a buddy who also wears gold and chains but can't remember her face or who she was and asking the other two, who doesn't remember either

But you know, considering the one with the most survivability rate is Kira... Alone... I think this might've just been even worse.

I think you know what I’m gonna say 💀 WILDERLORE SPOILERS BELOW YALL-

Audrian trauma dump: when I was a child, I went to the woods to go find a stone dinosaur who adopted me, and then I FAILED my written portion of my exam (but I still passed bc I’m just that good 🤪) and got myself a super famous  lore master (who preferred me and not the other 2 npcs 😒) AND THEN my ex bestie tried to kill me bc I was a visionary and left me to DIE on a mountain after I tried to bond with the bIG LEGENDARY OVERSIZED GECKO WITH WINGS (I was innocent) and then I had to get traumatic face surgery so that my 2 ex besties (who now hate each other yay!) wouldn't recognize me and kill me again! And these 6 kIDS KEEP RAGEBAITING ME AND I LOST THE PRANK COMPETITION FOR THE SECOND TIME TO THE SAME TRICK 💀 oh and then my 2 ex besties cant stop fighting each other (bc they're so incompetent) that I managed to kill a legendary beast 💅. oh and I adopted this kid and he's my son.

Headcanon time: When apprentices pass the fourth test and graduate from their professor's care, there's a ceremony where they 'return' their old hat to their professor before wearing the new hat of their own design for the first time.

Despite all the strains in their relationship, Beldaruit, of course, is sobbing the whole time when Qifrey's returning his hat (which also happens to be missing its tassel), and when he passes the fifth test, Qifrey says that it was very cringey and embarassing and how he would never do that when it's time for his apprentice's graduation-

Flash forward to the future where all the girls pass their test and graduate, and Qifrey? Man's straight up bawling when he receives their hats. Olruggio is relentless in bringing this up- but unknown to Qifrey, he was crying at the time too, Qifrey just didn't see it.
