We spend most of our lives waiting on someone else. Someone else will pick up that litter, someone else will volunteer, or someone else will come along and make it better. The days we become someone else are the days we really start living.

I had a tendency of asking myself was it really there or did I just want something to be there because it was for me. Was I searching for it and making the small things big? Or was I dismissing the big things and making them small? He’s always made me ask these questions and I’ve secretly hated him for it. It was damaging and poison to my mind, constantly having to reason his actions and detach my feelings. I know the solutions are easy, but I just try my best to not make a big deal of it.
