Are you getting started on researching our history, culture, and ancestral beliefs? Well here are some book recommendations to get started.
For those interested in learning about our precolonial culture and beliefs, I always recommend reading Barangay: 16th Century Philippine Culture & Society by William H. Scott. This is a helpful book that discusses many topics and should be a starting point when doing your research.

Got an affordable AND translated copy of the Boxer Codex!
So there are English translations of the Boxer Codex that are going for $20USD on Amazon right now and I had to buy it last week, considering most OTHER translations are $100USD... or they end up around that price after the cost of shipping it internationally.
Right now I’m just poking around at random portions of it, but Pinoy friends, FEEL FREE TO ASK ME TO TAKE PHOTOS OF THE PAGES!!!
