There is no breathing room in this one! No moment of peace. No place to catch your breath. No time to hope for better things. It’s nonstop chaos from the get go! But it was tiresome, it never felt like it was too much or overly done. It was the right amount of pain, love, struggle, and deceit. Danny and Rose have a long list of issues. Personal, “professional”, from their pasts, in their presents, with each other. Nothing is easy, or as it seems. I wasn’t kidding when I said there was nonstop chaos! Danny and Rose are so broken. But they’ve found safety in each other. Which is insane, considering the pain and trouble they’ve brought into each other’s lives! Even when they go from hateful enemies to something more gentle and caring, they were still relentless with each other. But their love was never toxic. Dangerous, sure. Their love however, for as complicated as it was, it was easy. I wish more of the important moments between them was done from Danny’s POV. Like that first I love you. There was so much back and forth with the ending. Who’s dying, who’s killing who, who’s not dying. My poor nerves! But it doesn’t matter, Rose and Danny got the happy ending they both wanted, needed.
