Today i was at Walthamstow Central questing for fabric, and the street stalls run both sides on a Saturday, goods of all kinds: plastic sandals, towels, clothing, bulk bought rando-brand household soaps, £5 handbags, food stalls, jewellery of dubious provenance etc

and this stallholder of knock-off perfumes turned to this like tiny pre-teen kid sitting (no doubt their daughter or cousin) by the side of the stall and told them ‘pls refill the boxes’

and the kid looks up from their phone or whatever and in this absolutely perfect, over the top, worthy of baby-emma-watson-in-HP1-horrible-stagey-victorian-melodrama acting, goes

“WHELLLLLL ..... so MUCH for my BREAK.”

There might have been a tiny diva hair toss.

I love this town sometimes.
