Leaving Japan with a full heart. I can’t begin to put into words how special this week was!
RikuRyu, congratulations on putting together such an incredible show! It was an honour to be apart of it and thank you for your trust. Assembling a cast of only ice dance and pair teams is truly unique and it was amazing to see 🇯🇵 embrace it with such enthusiasm! I’m excited to watch the disciplines continue to flourish in one of the great skating nations. I reflect on our work together over the years and am SO proud of everything that you have accomplished together. You deserve all of this❣️
To the production team, thank you. Thank you for your unwavering professionalism and for always saying yes. This week was a blur, but your calm conduct and swift action allowed this show to come to life (and did it ever!). I so hope we all get the chance to work together again in the future!
To each and every one of the cast members, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this production everything that it was. It was a privilege to have this opportunity to work together. Watching you put in the work over 12-hour rehearsal days and rise to every occasion like the true professionals that you are was inspiring! Thank you for trusting the process and for making this a week I will hold dear in my heart for always.
Finally, Kaitlyn, thank you. Your brilliance was on full display this week and it was an honour and a privilege to go to work with you. Your ideas, your vision, your work ethic… you are incredible. The way you approach your work with such a beaming heart is infectious and what was created this week was unbelievable. It is one of the great joys of my life to ride shotgun with you❣️
