He’s called a Rainbow Hypogryph!

(Inspired by a Horse, Pachycephalosaurus, and Rhinoceros Beetle)

The Rainbow variety of hippogryph is popular among rich girls who like ponies. Hippogryphs are a common dragon coming in many different species and varieties from wild, draft, mini and more.

However the rainbow kind is the most popular domestic breed thanks to their vibrant colors. What’s special about them is unlike other sexually dimorphic gryphs, the rainbow females possess just as much color as the males.

Only female gryphs can be kept domestically since the males are angry little beasts with knives on their rear feet and a giant spear on their faces, but this can come as a disappointment to some casual gryph keepers who yearn for the flamboyance and flair of the males.

Female rainbows are a safe, reliable and flashy choice of pet for your ornery princess fairy seven year old who wants a pet dragon for her birthday.

Artix: What do you mean they don’t make it to the ground? Where do they go?

Nythera: Shoutout to the clerk at the store who looked at the cookbook I was buying, looked at the book on poison I was also buying, paused, and asked if I had big weekend plans.
