Headcanons:

Very reserved. She can come off as quite cold until she warms up to someone. This made her fairly isolated as a child; she grew up without a lot of friends and always felt like a bit of an outsider.

She knows her parents love her, but they’ve never had a very close relationship. Part of this is she grew up under similar expectations as Louis, although not as strict. She was always meant to “carry on the family line” and she’s slightly resentful.

Bisexual, but strongly prefers females. For years she thought she was gay, and worried a lot about how this would impact her marriage and production of fawns.

Views her engagement with Louis very much as a business proposal. They both have duties to carry out and if either of them fails, the contract is void and there’s no reason to continue it without due adjustments.

Has a little romantic side that always wanted a passionate and life-changing love, but she ignores this most often because she doesn’t consider it in the cards for her.

Loves the ballet. Louis takes her out to see a show sometimes when they meet up and it’s something they both enjoy (and they don’t have to talk)

She and Louis are the same age and they were engaged at 13

Went to an all-girls boarding school for middle school and high school

Is currently attending university out of town, so she and Louis only see each other when she’s visiting

When they first met, Louis gave her a bracelet as a gift. Since then, she’s had it resized as necessary, and she always wears it when she’s going to be seeing him.

So I’m happy to report that I ended up doing a bit of everything yesterday. I read some of Queen’s Shadow by @ekjohnston and then I did a bit of moonwalking

lol (aka goofing around on my phone)

and then I finally did some actual writing!!

I hadn’t done that in MONTHS and I was on a roll but had to stop myself because it was WAY past my bedtime 😅

I’m happy to let ya know I’ve got 719 words written of Chapter 7 of The Fiancée, whoop whoop! 🙌🏼

Today is my first day of working three 12-hour shifts in a row so I doubt I’ll get more writing done til the weekend, but ya never know...
