March 29th, 2007 KARA debuted with the album: The First Blooming

KARA (카라) was a girl group under DPS Media, originally consisting of: Park Gyuri (박규리), Han Seungyeon (한승연), Kim Sunghee (김성희) and Jung Youngju Nicole (정용주). They made their debuted on M! Countdown, and they made a second music video for the single ''If U wanna'', ''The First Blooming'' was well received by critics but not by the general public as it was out shined by other girl groups that debuted the same year. Kara was also heavily compared to label mate Fin.K.L (핑클). To try and boost their popularity they filmed a documentary called ''Kara Self Camera'' which ended after two seasons. Under the making of their second album, Sunghee had to leave the group due to pressure from her parents and school, so the album was postponed and they added to new members to the group: Goo Hara (구하라) and Kang Jiyoung (강지영).
