Everything about Gen makes me wanna pull my hair out
Every other character in Dr Stone I can comprehend I understand there wants, goals, ideals. I think I could accurately point out the stuff they would do in a situation, everyone but Gen. He's such a wildcard to me and it drives me insane.
I don't consider myself good at understanding people but I know damn well I can pick apart characters but GEN. HE DRIVES ME INSANE. I can't accurately pinpoint anything on him, I was trying thinking about what each of the 5 generals would be as elements here's what I got so far:
Ryusui - Water - he's a sailor but also he's incredibly flexible like water, he's good at adapting to situations evident from his first appearance
Ukyo - Wind - his entire job involved sensing changes in the air but he's also just always present even when you don't realise it he's there
Chrome - Earth - the man collected random rocks all his life but he's also the ground work for science, he connects the people of Ishigami Village to science bridging that gap between humanity
Senku - Fire - Can't remember if it was in the show or a fic but I saw recall seeing Gen call him the prometheus of the new world (prometheus is the titan that gave humanity fire in greek mythos) which honestly fits so well
AND THEN I GET TO GEN AND I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT HED BE. Nothing fits I could be like space but that makes no sense? Psychic would be my best guess but is that an element???? He's driving me insane again
