Do you have any Freddie/Brownie AU headcanons?

i think the BIG one is Freddie is some super wealthy dude and Brownie is a starving barely getting by university drop out who’s cashier at shoppers. and on one of brownie’s rare nights out they meet and they’re both pretty drunk and they sleep together and brownie wakes up in freddie’s bed alone and there’s a text on his phone saying something about money being on the counter and freddie’s at work and brownie can help hismelf to food and a shower and brownie’s like “money??” and then he fnds 1200 dollars on the counter in cash with his name on it.

and basically in his drunken haze brownie said something about freddie needing to pay for it and freddie does and then starts this weird sort of relationship where Freddie thinks brownie’s an escort and brownie is constantly battling between “i really like hanging out with him and i wouldn’t be able to if he wasn’t paying me to basically take the day off, but also i’m lying to him.” Like brownie doesn’t feel guilty about being paid for sex cause there’s nothing wrong with that line of work. HOWEVER he’s like “i’m a fraud i’m not a professional what is going on.” and freddie doesn’t know.

and freddie like, takes him to events and buys him nicer clothes so he fits in a little better. and brownie meets his friends, and just...enjoyws spending time with freddie but also he enjoys not working 60 hours every week and the only fun thing he does watching the leafs on saturday nights.

Then one day at work Brownie’s not really paying attention and when he goes to ring someone up he looks up and sees it’s freddie and they both have an “oh shit” moment and freddie just says hi and asks if he’s having a good day and when he goes to leave he says “see you later.” and he doesn’t seem upset but Brownie feels like he needs to throw up.

Then freddie takes him to dinner and they have a long conversation about how brownie wasn’t trying to use him he just liked being around him so much and he felt guilty about lying he has no idea why he lied in the first place. but also, it felt nice to not hate his life for a bit. it felt nice to take the day off and offer to help his friends out too. he tells freddie that it wasn’t about the money but before a treat involved him and his roommates (CC, willy, and zach) rounding up enough money to buy pizza after they paid rent and even then they would have to walk to dominos to get it because they couldn’t afford the delivery fees. and so he’s sorry and he really doesn’t want freddie to think that’s what it’s about but it wasn’t like he was using freddie for it. it all went towards things he needed and...

and freddie’s torn too but he...doesn’t care not really. I think he sees brownie differently then, sees the bags under his eyes, sees the straing in his shoulders, how he looks a little ill like maybe he hasn’t been to the doctor in too long. he’s torn because...brownie did lie to him and keep lying to him and he feels stupid for buying into it for so long. but he thinks part of him knew all along but he just...liked being around brownie to much to stop. scared that if he stopped paying brownie he’d go away.

Which, brownie is so sorry for that, that’s never what he intended. Freddie didn’t have to pay for his companionship, his time maybe because without the income from freddie he’d have to work almost every day of the week but that’s what texting’s for right?

anyway this is going on for a while but freddie and brownie end up committed. Freddie helps him and his friends out as best as he can without making brownie feel too dependent on him. he moves them out of their apartment because of the bug problem and gets them into a newer building and a discount rate on rent. that way they can all still pay for it even if Freddie and Brownie end. but even so every few months their rent will be paid before any of them can spend their own money. He helps Willy get a new real corporate job, writes a shining recommendation for CC to work as a personal trainer at a gym, and actually hires Zach to work for his company. and then Brownie, he wants to give him the world but doesn’t know how. so he does what he can.

He gets Brownie to quit his job, gets him to start signing up for university classes again and pays for all of them even though Brownie hates that (he begs freddie not to and cries because he feels so guilty but Freddie literally pulls up his bank account and asks Brownie exactly what else he’s supposed to do with all his money. and that makes brownie laugh a little.) and once Brownie starts going back to school and his work load drops his mental health improves so rapidly, it’s like a new person, a better person, and Freddie wants to keep giving him the world. but Brownie never asks for anything except for him.
