Caped crusader Ep 7 “Moving target” + BTAS Ep 34 “I am the night” spoilers!
Literally no one else cares about this reference or noticed it bc no one cares about the minor villian that is Jimmy Peake aka the jazzman who first appeared in BTAS “I am the night”
He’s only in this one episode and in a comic (s2 I forgot the actual number but it’s Hunter be hunted I think) but he has a jazz/music theme and uses music and jazz themed slang and he runs a gang that in the episode were told smuggles weapons
Now in Ep7 we don’t see or hear of Jimmy by name but when we see Onomatopoeia and his gang off load the train we see his men carrying instrument cases (trombone and guitar cases specifically) we can presume aren’t being used for their intended purpose (like we saw above with Jimmy pulling a gun from the guitar case)
And then later when they are being arrested or really anytime we have music going on with Onomatopoeia it’s a sort of smooth jazz
Am I saying that the creators of Caped crusader who have taken a lot of inspo from BTAS put in a minute reference to a C-tier villain? Sadly I doubt it but I sure hope so. Anyways it’s from me that I declare that Jimmy the jazzman peake is in fact working For onomatopoeia
