Borin, the youngest child of King Náin II
☕️ Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii ! How are you ? Hope life is doing great for you ? I was wondering, if you would like to answer this one, is there anything about Tolkien's work you would like to see on screen ? (an other story about the dwarves before of after The Hobbit, or something from the silmarillion or an animated movie or something like that )
Have a great day !
Hello hellooooo @ilovedainironfoot 😍😍😍 Thank you so much for popping into my inbox :)
I have a few answers to this question but let's go with my favorite one... okay, two three:
1. I'd looove to see Erebor before Smaug came, Thorin's family, his interactions with his grandfather and father, and his grandmother and mother as well! In fact, I would like to see more of dwarf women and their role in the dwarven society! And what about Frerin and little Dis and all the shenanigans they had together? Their trips to Dale? GIVE IT ALL TO ME! Bonus points for showing what the day when Smaug came and what happened to Thorin then (the book version, although I love some of the glimpses we got in the movie).
2. The Lonely Mountain exiles on their way to the Blue Mountains. What happened when they went to the Iron Hills? What made them leave and go to Ered Luin? What did their wonderings look like? What happened to Thorin and his siblings during that time?
3. Petty-dwarves. I'd love to see a movie focusing on the petty-dwarves, their hard life and struggles, including the dark moments in their history - being hunted by the elves as game and how years and years of animosities led to the history of Mîm we know from the Silmarillion (which was told from an elvish POV).
In general, I'd love to see anything with a dwarvish point of view for a change.
Thank s for the ask, I really enjoyed it 💙
