Then I met Anne.
Life had a way of throwin’ you harder than any horse ever could, and she had every reason to stay down. The world wrote her off after they found out what she was. She lost everything. Yet somehow, she still found a reason to keep one foot in front of the other. She kept getting back up.
After a while, I realized my Papá’s lesson wasn’t about avoiding the fall. It was about refusing to let it be the end of you.

Despite her broody disposition, 𝐊𝐨𝐝𝐚 is a true romantic at heart 🥺❤️ (all she knows about romance they've gotten from books)
The fact that 𝐊𝐨𝐝𝐚'𝐬 parents lied to him about his 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒅 status troubles him deeply 😞 (he also feel enraged after his parents' arrest… WHY is what they did a jailable offense)
𝐊𝐨𝐝𝐚 decided to attend the 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 with 𝐎𝐧𝐚𝐬 (he bought them a 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘬 𝘰𝘳𝘣 🥰🔮)
Over the years 𝐊𝐨𝐝𝐚 grew close to 𝐅𝐢𝐨𝐫; viewing her as family 🫂 (she still misses her parents, though & writes to them whenever she has free time despite never being written back)
