How to know you’re in LJ’s novel
As per usual, I’m using the Mastery series (although I have multiple WIP’s). Thank you @dotr-rose-love for the tag!
How do you know if you’re in The Mastery?:
You’re a resident of one of nine Empire’s.
If you’re in the Outer Empire’s (there’s 8 of them), then you’re either a super-powered member of royalty or a normal person referred to as an ‘Inferior’ (even though I love you regardless <3)
You’ll either love or hate the opposing group.
If you’re in the Central Empire, you’re a tech nerd. Anyone from the Outer Empire’s who uses tech is going to pull that face grandparents do when you show them something on your phone.
Either you’re an introvert or you’re the loudmouthed life of the party. Not much in between.
Unless you’re a meanie pants, Aiden will love and mother you, regardless of age. And Alex will probably tell you a pick-up line if you’re not a minor. Just smack him and he’ll probably back off.
You will always be wearing some piece of attire representing the colours of your birth and current Empire. Whether its your t-shirt or underwear, it’ll be there somewhere.
Your personality will seem really caricatured first.
Then comes your backstory, proving how your first impression personality is a facade.
You will be trained or want to learn some form of martial arts, regardless of how good your weaponry skills are. You are also interested in some form of social science and/or law.
You prefer bustling market towns or quaint villages to the city.
You have ridden on many a train in your lifetime. Unless you’re from Anthonia, then you have no idea what a train is and instead will have yourself a loyal, noble steed. Or Norika, you’re too busy being a badass to catch a train!
You have a really extended family tree. Someone is probably disowned, someone is probably also your best friend. A major member of your family is either dead or missing. But you’re in a love-hate relationship with the lot of them.
You like to offer everyone drinks because you are the hydration station (a reference to the last tag game @dotr-rose-love tagged me in haha).
You’re probably either stuck in the past or ignore it and focus so much on the future that you don’t address your past traumas.
You will have made a joke about how small Grand Master Ivanov is at least once.
Tagging a few people who’ve recently interacted with my posts (only do it if you want to, of course :) ): @ill-write-when-im-dead, @magpieandwriting and @decayingwriter!
