In 1987, when Spider-Man finally tied the knot and married Mary Jane, Stan Lee held a real-life wedding at Shea Stadium as a publicity stunt.

THE METS
you see, shane hollander getting traded to the centaurs is a lot like juan soto being traded to the mets, only that shane’s presence won’t be the reason why the core centaurs players end up trading and ruining a potential dynasty, but instead becomes a central force and keep everyone together through being fiercely in love with the game (and their captain)
my friend says i treat the mets like a sitcom
I went to a Mets game tonight and during one of the inning breaks they showed splash down. #everyonelikedthat
Fun fact: It's canonical that Peter Parker is a Mets fan.
I know nothing about baseball. But I like things like this since it makes characters feel real.
There's also an issue about it, that being Peter Parker: Spider-Man #33. It's a good read, I recommend it.
There's not much else to say, so here's a panel from Spidey Super Stories. It's the same issue with The Wall.
