Welcome to the Camp Part 2

[A/N: Heh, I felt like writing today so onwards, part 2!]

Let’s start with our Helminth friend! He’s Wai Sek, also known as Greedy. He’s our ever helpful and ever hungry friendly infested. He’s got a fondness for infected floofs and to keep him company, he’s got a few infected floofs in his room. 

There’s many flowers on the wall but we don’t talk about that. 

Now we come to Artemis’ side of the Orbiter. She didn’t want to “borrow” Gideon’s space, and she wanted her own so the Transferrence Room has become her space. She spent a whole week wood paneling the floors of the room with stuff from Hombask who was trying to figure out why she needed so many.

This is Artemis’ worktable, it’s a simple space for working - tools from fortuna, a whole planetary system installation, and archeological finds. There’s also a collection of shawzins on the walls. 

My favourite thing: A work display and also a hangout space for friends and visitors who drop by. Her space is very open and inviting.

Welcome to the Camp Part 1

We’re going on a little guided tour of our camp, but I can’t fit all of the photos and wording in this one post, so it’ll be split up into 2 or 3 posts depending on how much I’m writing. 

As you can see here, Ballas’ portrait is a self healing, renewable source of fuel and is the camp’s eternal firepit that never extinguishes unless you dump it in water. Good for cooking food. But his portrait is where it belongs - the fire pit and good fucking riddance.

Sometimes Artemis likes to work outside, or eat breakfast whilst watching the sunrise. She can even greet the Garrison members good morning and they share some coffee. It took a while for the Grineer gang to try coffee, but they ended up liking it and now there’s coffee mornings prepared by Horrek. 

The main “hall” of the Orbiter, when it’s bad weather or a special occasion (like Tennobaum or Naberus), everyone eats inside and usually on those days, Horrek makes something good. Gideon’s clanmates have returned to the Second Dream for a while and sometimes she misses them and on the days that they don’t use the mainhall, the floofs are on the chairs. Each member of the clan is represented by a floof: Gideon (Dax Stover), Sawgaw (Terrierist), Bolarola (Raven) and Horrasque (Wiggy). 

[A/N: The floofs really do represent our clan of four, Team Bazelgeuse. They haven’t played Warframe in a while and sometimes I miss playing with them, so I put the floofs on the chairs]

Artemis likes to cook and she enjoys having a kitchenette to cook for herself to make snacks, and Horrek often leaves her or Gideon food in the freezer unit when she needs it. Gideon can always find something to snack on here, and a lot of the snacks are provided by friends like Little Duck (sometimes pinched luxury items that was going to go to Nef Anyo but found their way to the camp)

The wall of remembrance - for all that both Gideon and Artemis has lost, there’s a commemorative wall for people and fellow Tenno lost. An offering of clean water and plants as part of an old world belief to honour those who have fallen. On the wall are (from left to right): Umbra, their parents, Teshin, sevagoth (tenno), lavos (tenno), a Zariman lunaro statue (the people on the Zariman), the donda (Rell) and Inaros (tenno). Artemis comes in to talk to the picture on the wall every so often. 

Here we have Gideon’s room, filled with memorabilia and floofs collected over the long hunts collecting tags for the Biz, Master Teasonai and Brother of course. She’s very proud of her collection, she completed her entire collection and has kept them very neatly on the shelves and on the floor rug. 

Sometimes their panzer vulphaphyla Zinogre keeps her company and sleeps in her room for company, and when it’s Artemis’ turn, he sleeps there as if guarding the room.
