Rant

Fronting when the partner got home from work, first time meeting them myself... I don't like them (or anyone really) they were immediately passive aggressive and pissy with me for being distant and honestly f**k them. They could tell I wasn't someone they knew but still decided I needed to answer for everything right this second. I froze up cuz the others aren't letting me say what I want to but the partner just keeps picking, won't stop staring at me, getting closer and being grumpy, saying shit like "I want to know WHY you don't like me" instead of backing the f**k off. Listen b**ch I'm trying not to fly into a rage, give me space. I don't know you and I'm not liking what I'm learning, seriously get me the f**k out of here.

Thinking about getting different coloured silicone rings or something to wear depending on the alters that are most active. Some headmates have a lot more difficulty communicating (especially verbally) and might be uncomfortable pointing out exactly what's going on, especially at this early point when most of the system still doesn't know my/our partner very well. We don't have a definitive count and folks can be very blendy a lot of the time, so thinking about rings that are small enough to be stackable, mostly to be able to communicate a bit with my partner about how things are going? Like even if we don't have an exact identity or name we might be able to do something like: pink ring for a part that sees our partner in a romantic way, blue for friendly, white for someone that doesn't know them well / at all, yellow for little ones, red for "don't get too close to us", etc. Or something like that.
