Chapter 3 is ready - Letter No. 1 - Brandywine, Part 2.
------- Aragorn sleeps well, lulled into slumber by the cheerful din of the tavern below. He wakes up the next day when the sun is already above the trees. The restful scent of fresh bread mingling with pipeweed smoke pulls him out from under the quilt and into his clothing, reminding him of the task at hand. He dresses quickly, then stops at the top of the stairs as he looks out into the tavern below. The Prancing Pony is surprisingly busy for this hour, but the clientele is not the same as it was the night before. It is full of mostly hobbits, with a few others mixed in. An old man in a pointed hat sits at one table alone and smokes a pipe. “Periain… !,” he says to himself. “It must be Second Breakfast already.” “Elevenses, actually,” a voice from behind says. Arn nudges his way around Aragorn with a tray of jams and jellies and heads down the stairs. “You better get to the baker before she sells out!,” Arn calls behind him. “Go find your cat!” Keep Reading...
