GENERAL HEADCANONS:

Puppet gets along better with kids, teens, and young adults, and will go back in his box if someone over 25 tries to interact with him

I have always seen this piece of art as his human form (he only uses it when the pizzeria closes down or when he's allowed to go backstage with the other animatronics)

I HC puppet as bigenderfluid (identifying with male and agender), using he/it pronouns

Puppet sometimes annoys rude customers by forcing them to call him 'the puppet' instead of 'puppet'. He will correct them each time. Management cannot stop the sass (i'm tired that's the best sentence you're getting).

Puppet is one of the strongest animatronics, having telekinesis, telepathy, levitation, filukinesis, the ability to summon in anything inside a gift box, the ability to stop ones' organs, the ability to explode ones' head, and the ability to rip someone's soul out of their body

He doesn't really handle threats in the pizzeria because he considers doing so "overkill".

^ Management stopped pestering him the first time they had to clean up one of the nightguards. There was blood everywhere.

^ Now his job is to just alert the others in case of a minor threat

He is tall as hell, at 9"0; if he wasn't an animatronic, he'd have back issues with the amount of times he's had to crouch down to talk to teens (he has to sit on the ground to talk to kids) (yknow considering he's like hallway ceiling height i'm pretty sure he'd have back issues regardless)

He is 6"8 in human form

Puppet sees every animatronic in the location as family, being the closest to Mangle and Withered Golden Freddy, seeing them as siblings

His hands are barely functional, so he tends to use his strings to grab things and his telekinesis to lift things

DATING HEADCANONS:

Reader was a regular of Toy Freddy's Pizzeria who decided to become a nightguard

Due to being a regular, Toy Chica is chill with you

Since the puppet is highly respected (and feared) among all the other animatronics, none of them really try to mess with you (also add the fact that Withered Golden Freddy is one of Puppet's closest friends, and messing with you practically becomes a death wish)

His love languages are gift giving, quality time, and words of affirmation

Puppet likes dancing with you

He likes talking about music with you

He can be overprotective at times

He likes tying you up sometimes (in a romantically flirty way not a sexual way) (i mean if you want this HC to be NSFW go ahead, im just ace asf)

Puppet is very empathetic, and will be there for you when you need him

He sometimes breaks out of the pizzeria to come visit you (management can't stop him, and he knows it)

He likes listening to you talk about whatever

Puppet loves when you fall asleep against him

He doesn't like when you're not honest with him

𖦹toy bonnie’s offended you aren’t awake, he goes through the trouble to try and terrorize you every single night just for you to nap?

𖦹he wants to attack you but clearly you don’t care! fine, if he can’t kill you nobody can! he snaps at anyone coming near.

𖦹bonnie will explain how pissed he is when you return the next night, doesn’t even remember to try and get you.

𖦹you will never hear the end of it. he will keep others away while chewing your ass out too, everybody is so fucking scared of bonnie rn omg.

𖦹eventually though he goes back to normal(after a million years), bonnie’ll always hold a grudge on you for that though.

↯you may think because of toy chica’s vicious nature that she’ll take the chance to kill you, but no, she will probably just wait.

↯chica won’t care if you get attacked, kinda disappointed but attacking is the plan after all.

❥mangle would be surprised, you’re being hunted by animatronics and your first instinct is to sleep? okay..

❥whatever.?? mangle has no clue what he’s supposed to be doing. should they be waking you up, let someone else get you?

❥she decided to just watch you until you show signs of waking up, mangle doesn’t really want to get you right after you fell asleep, they’re not that cruel.

❥climbs away when/if you wake up, mangle isn’t leaving you just giving you a minute to wake up.

The Puppet/Marionette❦

❦so this is why the puppet box wasn’t winded. puppet’s tempted to just take you out(like kill, not a date) but decides to go get you a blanket.

❦might hang out for a while in hopes you wake up, if you do puppet asks you how this even happened.

❦most likely tells the other animatronics something along the lines of “let’s not do this tonight” and stays around longer just to be sure.

❦puppet will leave you eventually, he has things to get ready for the morning.

❦she will never mention this to you, it’s as if you never fell asleep to begin with.

Withered Freddy✍︎

✍︎he stares at you. if you wake up from this he mutters a bye and leaves, freddy might return later though.

✍︎you don’t wake up? he slowly inches towards you until eventually he’s right at your desk.

✍︎he knocks on the desk so you can hear it/feel the vibrations. when you wake up he looks at you for awhile then stomps off.

✍︎if freddy returns he will act the same, kinda like the puppet he acts like it never happened.

✍︎you don’t even get easy mode or anything, just an average night after that. better than freddy having had killed you though.

Withered Bonnie ☜

☜it’ll freak bonnie out a bit, at first it thought you just died without any wounds or anybody doing anything.

☜not like he’s worried just a little bit freaked out because of his first assumption on what happened.

☜eventually when it walks up to you bonnie realizes your just taking a little nap, he even feels kinda bad.

☜bonnie will shoo others away when he isn’t sitting waiting for you to wake up, it will especially try to be quiet so you can rest.

☜i think this’ll end up being an accidental bonding experience for you two(even though you were asleep the entire time), bonnie isn’t gonna be all nice or save you anymore but at least it isn’t attacking you!

NIGHTMARE x NIGHTMARE FREDBEAR x NIGHTMARRIONE x READER HCs

Nightmare is 8"0 and Nightmarrione is 8"1 so if you're below 6"0 they both tower over you; Nightmare Fredbear is 6"8.

Nightmare gets very jealous when y'all interact with anyone who isn't part of the relationship, he's not going to admit it though

Nightmarrione loves baking cakes for y'all (most of which are black in color)

You have horror movie nights; most of the time y'all watch slasher films as that is Nightmare and Nightmare Fredbear's shared favorite genre (Nightmarrione brings body horror and psychological horror to movie nights when its his turn to pick) (i'll let you choose which kind of movie you bring)

Nightmarrione is really the only one that sleeps with you, the others just watch you sleep (sometimes Nightmare Fredbear will shift into plush form or human form to sleep with you and Nightmarrione as well)

They have most likely killed several burglars for you

Nightmare Fredbear is the only one who chooses to use his human form, so he's the one who primarily accompanies you during the day (Nightmarrione makes cameo appearances as he hides in the ceiling)

Nightmare Balloon Boy is the only nightmare who will mess with you, he's a shitass (as established in various posts of mine)

They are either really good to rant to, or really horrible to rant to, depending on your definition of a solution (listen, if you rant about how Steve from work was mean to you, that man is NOT coming into work tommorow)

Nightmarrione gifts human hearts, Nightmare gifts bones, and Nightmare Fredbear gifts rocks, flowers, and coins he finds

Nickname wise:

Nightmare calls all of you 'babe and honey', he calls N. Fredbear and reader 'dahlia' and 'moonbeam', and he calls Nightmarrione 'oopy goopy' (you started calling Nightmarrione that as a joke and Nightmare started to do so as well), N. Fredbear calls all of you 'dear' and 'darling', and Nightmarrione doesn't really use petnames

Most of them are not big on physical affection, but will return any affection given to them

^ N. Fredbear is the exception, he will lick or bite you guys unprompted (since you're human he gently bites you)

^ Nightmarrione will occasionally wrap up you or N. Fredbear with his tendrils because he likes holding you two

Nightmare and N. Fredbear are very careful with their claws and teeth around you

Nightmare and Nightmarrione flirt with morbid compliments, while N. Fredbear flirts unknowingly (he's somehow very smooth too)

The Puppet/Marionette (FNAF) x Gender Neutral Reader

Your eyes snap open.

It's dark and the fact that the first thing you see isn't your bedroom only adds onto your quickly-rising anxiety. Eyes darting left and right. Heart pounding.

The sudden creak from somewhere deep within the apartment, the vaguely familiar surroundings, and sudden awakening messes you up for a bit. Enough for your brain to take a moment to process where you are – your living room. You exhale. The second the recognition settles your body starts to relax, sinking back into the somewhat comfortable couch. You must've fallen asleep watching TV, and with inactivity sensor on it definitely turned itself off when you didn't press the button it in time.

That's alright.

Something doesn't sit right with you in the back of your mind, however. Yes, you have fallen asleep here a few times, and usually you'd get up and stumble into your bedroom without even waking up properly, but this time you simply don't have the energy to move. It's odd... You're usually bothered by dozing off at the TV but perhaps sleeping here tonight won't hurt. Sighing quietly you shift, cuddling further into the pillow. Good on you for being smart enough to leave out here earlier.

Oh well, at least you're not very sore.

You settle down very quickly, and the gentle pressure of your feline friend petting your head drags your consciousness away from you quickly. It was only when you realised that cats don't pet people that your breath hitched.

Fuck-

You don't even HAVE a cat.

And in that moment you swore you've ever felt this awake, nor this scared.

Your body jerked you away from the intruder, launching yourself in a way to put as much space between the two of you as possible. With a loud thud you fell off the couch banging your head back into the coffee table behind you. With a yell you grab the back of your head- piercing white pain spreading through your entire head; tears quickly gather in your eyes as you close them shut. No longer being able to think of anything else but how much everything hurt you curl yourself up into a ball.

Someone moves closer.

Your flight response changes, your body locks into place.

Within seconds the same thin hands that dragged through your hair were moving you palms away from your head but you didn't budge. Oh no, there was no way in hell you'd move. You weren't going to.

What seemed like minutes passed, and instead of forcing your hands away they settled for rubbing your shoulder reassuringly. When the pain slowly ebbed away into manageable levels, and you've gathered your courage, you slowly looked up. You looked up and near sobbed out loud in relief.

As creepy as this whole situation was you've never been happier to see them before.

The Puppet's lips tugged down into a frown, once again running their hands over yours and you begrudgingly let go. With a gentle bump of their forehead into your temple they sat up to tower above you, checking your head for any and all injuries.

Sometimes you forget how small you are in comparison.

Nothing's wrong though, no wounds; you're fine. You could tell that much by how their shoulders and posture visibly relaxed. You relax as well, wiping your tears away.

They lift you off the floor, pausing and making sure it's okay with you first, and take you to your room. Settling you into your bed, you couldn't help but feel emotions swell in your chest when your favourite lanky bud tucked you in – all their movements very careful to not hurt you more. You smile at them, unable to stop the chuckle when they seem to beam back at you.

How did they know where your bed was when they've never been here before (to your knowledge, at least) is a question you can ask another time; just like any other questions you've been meaning to ask.

Marionette sits on the edge of the bed, as close to you as they can, tilting their head to the side – asking if it's okay for them to stay for a bit. And you nod back. You even scoot back to give them more room, and they don't hesitate to make themself comfortable.

Settling down once more you accept another apologetic bump of their forehead into yours, and reassure them you're fine with a gentle kiss pressed to their forehead. They melt right there and there - letting their limbs fall limp by their sides only catching themself when they start sliding off the bed. Quickly sitting up they give their body a little shake for good measure, shaking the excitement out the best they can in one movement.

“Stay the night, it's okay.” You mutter; heavy eyelids closing as the exhaustion from this whole event finally settles into you. The pain still very much there but there isn't much you can do about it, you'll just sleep through it.

And as Marionette's soft fingers carefully caress your cheek you know you won't have trouble falling back to sleep again tonight.
