Played the beta branch of The Sapling and "documented" some of the species I saw. The first one that crawled on land and it's descendants. Sadly no carnivores or scavengers emerged.
Really loving the arthropod mouths.

Some sketches of the facinating creatures from the ongoing, month-long evolution stream of The Sapling game. These borbs can store tree sap in the sacks on their heads (totally make sense. I guess).
These ones are some Oncalapalips descendants, i guess

Omg I just got The Sapling (a game) and I'm letting stuff evolve on my own workd thingy and I did not expect plot twists...
First, I made algae that would float in the water as dots so it could evolve into much more, then, after a few timeskips, I realised they won't be able to actually evolve they're stuck as algae with occasional coloyr differences.
Then, I make some rooted algae. I plabt it and timeskip, unfortunately it died quickly after the timeskip 😔
I also notice that it tried evolving but the evolved species died before the original. Then, I check the list of species after this algae died. I notice a species called Walitum with 2 members alive! I get excited bc it managed to evolve in the nick of time and survive, though it was a little confusing how it managed to get over an area of ocean too deep for it to survive: I imagine it must have floated over or something.
Then, I make a new species of rooted algae in a different spot to everything else but not far away
Finally, I mive back to Walitum and check the family tree
IT EVOLVED FROM THE FLOATING ALGAE THAT I THOUGHT COULDN'T RVOLVE MUCH
:0
Omg
ALSO, I think it's escaping the water so I'm gonna have plantssssssss

The first chapter of The Sapling, a Reverse Bang fic written by @freyjawriter24 and illustrated by me, is now up!
Aziraphale and Crowley’s Arrangement takes seed and begins to sprout in more ways than one...
I had so much fun partnering with freyjawriter24 for the @do-it-with-style-events Reverse Bang, and we’re delighted to finally share this project with you all! Stay tuned for the next instalment!
The Sapling
“The Arrangement,” the demon said, making it sound like it deserved a capital letter. “D’you want to... commemorate this Arrangement in some way?”
“Perhaps.” Aziraphale thought for a moment. He knew that Crowley was offering to buy him a drink, but he had a better idea. “What about that acorn of yours?”
“Huh?”
“The acorn. That metaphor you were blathering on about. Why don’t we plant it? Create a sort of… living monument to our agreement.”
I'm lucky enough to be teaming up with the incredibly talented @tweedfeather for the @do-it-with-style-events Reverse Bang! We'll be posting the first chapter of our project, The Sapling, next week on Wednesday 10th February 2021.
Stay tuned to witness the birth of an Arrangement...!
