Shareefa - The Skit
STORIES FROM YOUTH CAMP # 5 : THE SKIT.
There is this event at youth camp where you would have to create a skit and act it out in front of people. This was part of the competition.
So for our skit, we still have to think of a story that is related to the theme and we should make it ours. As much as possible.
And by ours, I mean something that best represents our team. Again for anyone who doesn't know anything about our team, our name is Tech-tians. A mix of technology and Christians.
Okay, so we had to think of something that is related to the theme and something that is related to our team as well.
Easy.
Here's the Story :
A guy, who has recently accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, starts to look for his place in the church. He is very eager to serve, with his mind and heart and soul. But as he looks for his ministry, he realizes what a failure he is. He tried being a part of the music ministry, but he couldn't play right. He also tried sharing the gospel, but he stutters.
The guy becomes super depressed. He felt like an outcast. He prayed. and prayed. After he prayed, he made a status update on his facebook account, saying "No, I won't give up. I know God has a plan for me."\
This status got so many likes.
And then something hit him.....
Why not make a blog?
And so the guy, made his own blog and through it, he was able to share the gospel all over the world. His blog became a bridge to millions of lives. He made a difference.
---
It's kinda funny how this story is very relatable to mine. I did feel like I am in a rut. I felt like an outcast to everything I did. But God did not let me feel that way. He showed me that there are no limits when it comes to glorifying Him. He told me that I could make a difference in ways I could not imagine. He told me that even if I feel like an outcast, with God, no one - not even me- is an outcast.
We all belong.
I just love their Sweet Lady Kisses...
The Skit.
"I've always wanted to do something The Warblers never let me do"
"Wear a new blazer?"

"And when they're nouinmininuublehhh"
"...numinunuuuh?"
Darren stop it, stop bouncing around like that, it does weird shit to my heart, and Chris stop it, just stop adding funny lines, stop making the skit better every time. I'm worried it's going to get too good for me to cope with and then I'm implode before seeing it myself okay. Just stop I can't handle it.
