Enneagram Tritype Moodboards: (2/27)
126 (The Supporter)
Charmed: Macy Vaugn [INTP]
OFFICIAL TYPING by Charity / The Mod
Functional Order: Ti-Ne-Si-Fe
Judging Functional Axis:
Introverted Thinking (Ti) / Extroverted Feeling (Fe)
Macy chose a profession that involves a lot of systematic thinking and problem-solving. She more than her sisters believes in “there must be another way.” Rather than crack down hard on something just to get it done, she looks for other explanations and reasons out things herself – like figuring out she can use her magic to stop her boyfriend’s heart, thus making him “dead” and no longer a demon host, before starting it again, rather than stabbing him with a blade intended to kill demons. She wants to understand magic and how it works. Her boyfriend has to explain to her why the logical solution and being impersonal does not solve all problems and may be immoral at times. Her inferior Fe shows up in two ways, positive and negative. It’s positive in that she wants to be part of a group, she makes decisions with her sisters in mind, and she has a “we” approach to problem solving. It’s not so great in that she routinely makes grievous errors of judgment, when it comes to the feelings of other people. She’s so excited to share learning that she and Maggie have the same father that she never thinks about how hurtful this will be to Maggie, to have her beliefs about her “real” dad undermined without any warning. She can complain under stress, and sometimes blame others for her mistakes.
Perceiving Functional Axis:
Extroverted Intuition (Ne) / Introverted Sensing (Si)
She likes to think cross-contextually when solving problems; thinking both how this could fall out in the future, and of “different ways” to solve things. Macy is somewhat naïve when dealing with other people, and not great at guessing their hidden motivations, but also does not let something go if she senses “something is off.” She reads books to learn more magic, then goes outside the rules and creates her own creative solutions to problems. Macy did not feel quite right until she found out her roots, and was able to connect to them and have a sense of “where I came from” (low Si). She can be somewhat impulsive in her decisions, when it comes to magic and trying new things out, but cautious about new experiences (she’s the most reluctant of the sisters to get into a physical relationship with someone, something “I have no experience in”).
Hogwarts House: Hufflepuff
House Traits: hard work, patience, loyalty, and fair play.
Macy is highly distressed to learn she might be part demon. She does not want to become “evil” and works hard to get rid of those qualities. She has to learn to accept herself as she is, and not be afraid of the future. Macy believes in playing fair, in doing things right, and in taking care of her sisters. She is loyal to a fault.
Enneagram: 6w5 sp/so
Tritype: 612 The Supporter [6w5 1w9 2w1]
She’s driven by fear and cautiousness. Macy is always cautioning her sisters not to be impulsive, to think about the future and how this might play out. She is somewhat suspicious of and distrustful of others’ and their motives at times. If she knows something is wrong, she will pick away at it, read more to figure it out, and then take action to do something about it. She seems to be seeking a safe place in the world, which brings her to her family. Macy needs time to think things through and makes most of her mistakes when acting on impulse. She is very logical and linear in her thought process, such as when Charity mind-wipes her and Macy figures out how to get back her memories. Her 5 wing makes her more withdrawn and avoidant. She turns to books and escapism when threatened. Her 1 likes to stay productive, tends others out of a sense of duty, and fears imperfection. Knowing she is part demon (and therefore might be “evil”) sends her into a panic attack, because the last thing she wants is to “go bad.” Her 2 fix tries to win over her sisters early on by doing things for them, and continues to show her love through providing for them things as simple as good meals. As an sp/so, Macy is very private and inclined to stay in her comfort zone, but also wants to contribute to society through her magic.

Cranford: Mary Smith [ISFJ]
OFFICIAL TYPING by Charity / the Mod
Functional Order: Si-Fe-Ti-Ne
Perceiving Functional Axis:
Introverted Sensing (Si) / Extroverted Intuition (Ne)
Mary is a sensible girl who arrives in Cranford frustrated with her life at home. She soon finds ways to blend into the society at Cranford, and respects their different traditions from her own, but also does not embrace them. Mary at first tries to live within the expectations of the time, but soon breaks out of them. She is a little apprehensive, but also excited, about trying new things—such as the railroad. Others’ courage inspires her to similar actions. Seeing Mattie’s efforts to change the town’s opinion of the railway inspires her to break off an engagement to a man she does not love, and go away to the city to become a writer. She tolerantly and patiently works with the ladies of the town to reconcile them, take care of Mattie’s financial needs, and begin new enterprises. She also bases her expectations of her stepmother’s behavior on their previous encounters (“Do not touch my hand! She will imagine us engaged!”). Mary shows little inclination to read into things, until she sees the evidence (upon hearing a valentine arrived all “splotched and blotted,” she finds the culprit due to him just sending her a letter in the same writing) and can be leery of the unknown.

Charmed: Harry Greenwood [ISTJ]
OFFICIAL TYPING by Charity / The Mod
Functional Order: Si-Te-Fi-Ne
Perceiving Functional Axis:
Introverted Sensing (Si) / Extroverted Intuition (Ne)
Harry has a vast amount of knowledge about magic, spells, and procedure built up over his many decades of life. He easily remembers these things, which makes him useful to the Charmed ones. He tends to also fuss around the house, wants things just so, and relies a lot on his personal experiences when making decisions. He’s reluctant to talk about his past, and remembers it differently than Charity does. He’s far more concerned with the potential negative consequences of the decisions his girls make, and often cautions them against being impulsive, but has shown a certain amount of impulsivity in the past himself (falling in love with a witch).
Judging Functional Axis:
Extroverted Thinking (Te) / Introverted Feeling (Fi)
Facts trump opinions, and he has plenty of both. Harry calmly assesses situations and comes up with solutions. He warns the girls about the consequences of their decisions. He relies very much on book knowledge and prefers to make decisions based on the logic involved. The girls help him to see potential ways to do things; his first line of defense is to take the swiftest action, even if it means erasing someone’s memory, or stabbing them to rid them of a demon. Harry keeps his emotions under wraps, and does not speak much about his former life or experiences. The girls know very little about him. He refuses to give out information against them on principle, and no amount of torture can make him change his mind. He cares deeply for them, but is not gushy in his display of feelings.
Hogwarts House: Hufflepuff
House Traits: hard work, patience, loyalty, and fair play.
Harry doesn’t mind his role in the household of “looking after the girls,” but he does lay down ground rules for them to live within—and he quite enjoys keeping their home in order and breakfast made. He is protective of them and loyal, but also not afraid to correct their bad behavior or act as their confidante.
Enneagram: 1w2 so/sp
Tritype: 162 The Supporter [1w2 6w5 2w3]
He is “by the book” to the end. He denies himself the physical things he wants because they are “out of bounds.” He empathizes with Macy’s fear of being evil, and often questions the right or wrong of his own choices and those of the girls. He shows disapproval for bad behavior. He is a fussy perfectionist about the house and hates a mess. Harry almost never shows anger, bottling it up inside, but when he does react, it’s with profound disappointment for others’ choices. His 2 wing and fix makes him eager to help. He happily takes care of his girls, and feels melancholy when it seems he has been “re-assigned” away from them. His 6 relies on the structure of the Coven to keep them safe, but is not above questioning its tactics if he feels they are immoral. As an so/sp, he has a group-focus first, followed by a need to cater to his own needs and keep things clean.
X-Men: Ororo Munroe / Storm [ENFP]
OFFICIAL TYPING by Charity / The Mod
Functional Order: Ne-Fi-Te-Si
Perceiving Functional Axis:
Extroverted Intuition (Ne) / Introverted Sensing (Si)
Storm never is completely certain what people are hiding from her, but her instincts catch on with lightning speed. She intuitively pieces things together – such as when Magneto warns them that someone wants to use Charles to power a machine and find all the Mutants, she wonders how they knew how to build one, forcing Magneto to reveal he gave up the plans under mind control. When she teleports into Second Cerebro, Nightcrawler falls for the little girl, but Storm instinctively knows it’s an illusion (“That’s no little girl”). When Charles attempts to hide his suspicions about Jean resurfacing as Dark Phoenix from the group, Storm accurately says, “There’s something you’re not telling us.” When she meets Nightcraweler, she observes the symbols carved into his body and perceives correctly, “Did you do these yourself?” She often accurately predicts what’s about to happen (Magneto’s intentions and double crosses)… all based in her former experience with Magneto and from awareness about his capabilities. Storm shows very little engagement with her environment; since she can control the weather, she uses that to do her fighting for her – and is quickly overpowered when she cannot use it (when high Se users attack her with physical violence). She is quite determined, after Charles’ death, to keep the school open, since it is a sense of “normality” in their lives.
Judging Functional Axis:
Introverted Feeling (Fi) / Extroverted Thinking (Te)
Storm treats the senator with kindness even after he has insulted and lobbied against them. She holds his hand while he dies, but is honest in her remarks to him. Just not unkind. She welcomes Logan as part of the group and forges a friendship with him. But her strongest sense of self comes in the third film, in which she learns a medical lab has developed a “cure” for being a Mutant. In a rare display of emotion, she rails against it, insists there is ‘nothing wrong with us,’ and feels deeply offended. Yet, when push comes to shove, she defends their right to exist, because it represents freedom of choice for others, something her Fi understands. Her Te is articulate, driven to accomplish things, and seeks quick solutions. It can also be blunt.
Hogwarts House: Gryffindor
House Traits: daring, nerve, and chivalry.
Storm has a no-nonsense attitude about her and shows continual courage in her attempts to protect even her enemies’ lives. She does not feel adequate to the task of taking over for Charles Xavier, but when push comes to shove and she considers the idea of the Mutant kids out on the street, she steps up to the plate. She often doesn’t “need” help.
Enneagram: 1w9 so/sp
Tritype: 162 The Supporter [1w9 6w5 2w1]
The few times we see Storm react, it’s with anger. She feels a strong need to uphold a sense of justice, and demands appropriate behavior from her students. She doesn’t like them to goof off in her class, since she takes her responsibilities very seriously. Offended as she is by the idea of a Cure, she still shows up to protect the people on the island who created it, because it’s the morally right thing to do. She keeps the school open ,because of self-identification with the kids (Fi) but also… because it’s the right thing to do. Her 9 fix does not like conflict, but can also numb her to things and make her withdrawn. Her 6 shows an instinctive distrust toward people who have proven unreliable in the past – she questions and challenges Magneto to get a sense of him, and has some self doubt about taking over the school. Her 2 makes her a good teacher and willing to go the extra mile to help, even if what others are doing is not something she agrees with. As an sp/so, Storm can be somewhat self-contained and reliant, but also group-centric; she sees the Mutants as “we,” and not just “me.”
