The Sword Master by @doubtfulloser
Adventure Fantasy | General | AO3 | Ongoing
Synopsis: An intrepid apprentice, a spurned knight, and the crown princess are sent by the Queen of Hyrule to delve into the temples of old to retrieve ancient relics in an attempt to bring the kingdom out of the dark age in which it has been suffering. Things only get more difficult when a man claiming to be a Sage starts showing up.

This story is opening to be a very classic adventure. The setting feels charming like an old school JRPG and the characters are a delight, with just the hints of mystery so far to look forward to as the party progresses. Looking forward to this adventure as it unfolds further. - amelias-hart
This story is just getting started but it promises to be an epic adventure. Link and Zelda are best friends and tasked with saving Hyrule once again. It’s nice to see a strong bond between the duo right from the start. The introduction of Arn, an older knight who refuses to wield a weapon adds an element of intrigue. It will be interesting to discover what led him to that bold choice as more of his backstory unfolds. - Mistress Lrigtar
This story is still just starting, but it's shaping up to be such a good adventure! The world building is excellent, we already have a loose direction for the different locations the heroes need to go to first and we have a nice idea of what Hyrule is right now thanks to very smooth and integrated information we get from character interactions and Link's inner monologue. I also love the cast so far! Link is the son of a Royal Guard with a lot of expectations on him, which he fully intends to meet, Princess Zelda has been his best friend since childhood, and they're accompanied by a mysterious Royal Guard or Ex Royal Guard that seems to rub everyone but the Queen the wrong way and who will not carry or use a weapon. Very much looking forward to more of this story. - Karama9
I really enjoy the setting and worldbuilding so far! Castle Town is lively and diverse, and Hyrule Field promises to have plenty of interesting encounters. As for the protagonists, you can't go wrong with an apprehensive squire-in-training and a princess with mysterious powers. It's very reminiscent of a top-down Zelda game to me, which is a delight. - metro-mtp

So idk if this a ship or not but I would like it to be a ship hear me out…
Yura x the sword master
The ultimate villain duo
Like the notorious villainous couple!!!
Wait wait more about sojo he was there when the sword master wielded shinuchi, was he a survivor from that Island??
The actual doodles from last ask blog, ehehe-
Shinuichi Wielder/The sword master and Kunishige headcanon!!!
Ok so I would love it if the sword master was Kunishige’s older brother he reallyyy admired!!!. And it would be a great way to show how Kunishige carried the guilt and sin after the sword master massacred everyone on the island.
Like how chihiro is help fixing the burden on Kunishige’s shoulders and unknowingly connecting both brothers when he fights the sword master!
Also I feel like Kunishige gives off younger sibling energy!
Why does the sword master really look fine in this chapter?
