tbh I read ur bad miracles fic and it’s so good sometimes I forget it’s not canon. and then I get mad when I remember it’s not canon cuz it’s so fire wtf do you mean this isn’t how things play out. and imo it makes complete sense that izuku’s dad is just an asshole deadbeat who walked out as soon as his kid turned quirkless, way more than all of the other theories out there.

anyways I was wondering if there’s like. a specific reason/backstory behind why izuku’s pet name for hinata is “peanut”? or is it solely bcs it sounds cute. just curious abt that. anyways tysm!!!

so the fun thing about character writing is that when you have a solid grasp of the character, you stop putting too much thought into their dialogue. You don't need to expend that much effort. Because once you grok a character, their dialogue just sort of...happens. Character voice is more than just their voice claim, it's how they shape every sentence and how they communicate and all the little nitty gritty details that can make you look at a line and go "Yeah, that was Blorbo Bleebus alright!"

It's also how you spot bad character writing, a la "He would NOT fucking say that"

And I've worked with Izuku for many years now. In many aus that never got published and some that did. And when I began writing out dialogue and scenarios for this particular fic universe, I did not christen Hinata with her nickname. It just showed up.

It popped up in the dialogue and who am I to question it? It belongs there. Hinata is small and cute (and very deadly to specific people). She is Peanut.

(Hisashi was a relentless nicknamer. He nicknamed everyone he could. Izuku is not so bold as to also do this, but take note that he never dropped Kacchan after years of torment. Izuku may not force a nickname on everyone around him, but he'll sure as hell stick with one he settles on.)

Bonnie's head, which was what he first connected back to a battery, worked just fine, which meant he also started talking and bombarding him of questions at the speed of a machinegun

Considering the time Afton spent putting him back together they ended up chatting more than what he would have been otherwise comfortable with

Glamrock Bonnie is, therefore, also the first to know that 'Springtrap' isn't just an advanced AI like him inside of an old ass suit

His reaction was something along the lines of "you're like, mad creepy. Ya know that right? That you're mad creepy?" (Exactly these words, picture the beta glamrock chica voicetone for these, the country chica)

There is also a doodle of after he found out someone was tampering with the robots, when checking Moon's coding again after a second anomaly, he found pieces he did not put there

And of when after destroying what was of glitchtrap in the main network, he, gregory and freddy had to get rid of the last instance of mimic1, who is also burntrap

He got a bit mauled in that little stunt because of some nightmarionne staffbots that did not liked him
