Okay, idea for a voice (which i might pivot vapid to be more like this idea tbh)

Voice of the self-centered??? Or another word like that, where he just like "we do no wrong, im the best voice, listen to me, only save the princess because we are the best, you wanna be me sooooo badddd" sotta vibe

Insane- "AH. Consume..." (paranoid, hunted)

Assassin- he stays silent. Clearly not enjoying it but not stopping you.

Vapid- "oh, what is this?" Vapid asked "this is pretty nice. Thank you" he smiled.

Fool- he coos at the praise, happily accepting it.

Silent- he glares and stops your hand before it even got close to touching his head. He stares daggers into your soul. No petting this voice apparently, not without death following it atleast

Naive- "oh her? Yeah! Shes so kind and pretty! I think we really just got off on the wrong foot sometimes, but i know that she never really ment to hurt any of us!"

Insane- "princess?" He thinks "we made mistakes." "Could have been closer, could have loved her. Wasnt the plan"

(hero, contrarian, cold, hunted, cold, smitten, cheated, stubborn)

Silent- he shakes his head slightly, murderous intent behind his eyes.

Assassin- "can you love your pray? I have a job to do and she is my target. There can be nothing more than that there between us"

Fool- "eh, i would say so! There are worse acting companions to work with" (narrator lmao) "at least she gets her cues! And she always has a good bit up her sleeve!"

Vapid- "her?" Vapid rolls his eyes "that up tight brat? She has had a cushy life and takes it out on us. What is there to like? I only dont slay her because a good hero would never harm a maiden"

as shallow as you can get.

speaks like he is in the child's picture book.

break the forth wall at times, talking to an "audience" that's not there

enemies to lovers pretty much with the princess.

thinks she is a brat (hence the chapter name) doesn't want to save her as she doesn't seem to be worthy, but he is a hero and that's what they do.

"I don't like the princess" he said "she is mean, and stuck up, and rude"

Chapter I

talk to the narrator wondering how she would act "a princess locked away in a cushy cabin? she's probably full of her self"

"it doesn't matter how she acts as long as you slay her"

you make your way to the cabin, grab your blade and head down.

she mostly acts like the cold princes, just a bit more entitled

you say she's acting like a brat and she huffs, cursing you and saying she will wait for a nicer hero to save her if you are going to act like this.

you apologize and agree to bring her out. cutting her arm she hisses at you with every slice.

"god, do you not know how to use a blade? that hurts so bad, why are you doing it like that? that cut is so jagged, you could have at least made it cleaner"

soon the cut is finished and she stands up, grabbing a cloth and wrapping it around her wound so she didn't stain her dress.

you turn to leave, following her out of the basement. but the narrator raises your arm, forcing you to swing.

it sticks in her arm "Ow!" she hissed, stumbling back "that was very rude why would you-"

the narrator lashes again, jumping at her.

she moves out of the way but stumbles, falling to the ground, eyes watering "why are you doing this- p-please- don't do this-"

you stab her, finishing your job.

but this was wrong, you weren't supposed to do this, you are a hero, you save helpless lasses, not kill them.

hero laments on this, wondering if he could even call himself a good person anymore.

Chapter II The Brat

you walk up the path, entering the cabin, inside it is mostly bare, plain walls and floor, even more abandoned then before.

the blade sits on the floor where the table used to be but no longer is.

you can take the blade or not, it doesn't change much.

her basement is even more bare, shadows being the only real details.

she stares, everything about her too polished but slightly off, perfectly symmetrical, eye balls a little too big, irises just a little too small, smile off.

free her

abandon her

she will make for a shallow heart

you can slay her, taking your blade and plunging into her heart, she scoffs, complaining on and on.

"you did this wrong, you missed by heart, you hit my lungs actually. why did i expect you to free me when you can't even handle an dager"

on and on and on, as she slowly slides down the wall, blood dripping out of her mouth at every word.

Chapter III The Caricature

if you talk to her, you can get her to realize how flat of a character she has become, which causes her to spiral, and lose herself. mid sob everything gets reset, and you are brought to Chapter III The hollow

depending on how you went about it, you get a different voice

if you are mean - Cold

if you are nice - Naive

Chapter III The Hollow

everything is dark, the trees thin and covered in holes (typophobia triggering) everything is withered and dark and sad, dark pits overing everything around, an abandoned forest.

you move to the cabin, which is now a tower, the cabin perched up on the pillar of stone, a rope ladder hanging off of it and blowing in the wind.

you climb it, struggling to stay on till you get inside.

the inside is just as dark as the outside, hole covering the walls and floor. one of which, the pristine blade is stabbed in.

you enter the door, with or without the blade.

she sits in the corner, chain latched on her wrist, her right eye replaced with a black void, with a hole though her stomach.

"what have i become... look at me? im a shell of what i was. i can't even remember who i used to be... was i kind? or cold...? angry at the world for locking me away, or forgiving and understanding of why they had to...?" "I don't think i can be fixed. i don't think there's anything left to be fixed..."

taking her hand, you can lead her out of the cabin, he body weak and light enough to cary.

her arm free the the shackle you being her out side the cabin, on your back you climb back down the ladder.

she steps on the grass, falling to her knees before sitting down.

she looks over at you, barely able to smile

"thank you... i... i feel better now, hero" she chuckles "i like the outside. its so calm... a little cold though.

and she is taken from you.

she will make for a growing heart

Chapter III The Caricature

it looks papery, very similar to the deconstructed damsel.

How does everyone feel about bugs.

Naive- "little buddys! They are very sweet and good for the world!"

Fool- "as long as they don't get on me or ruin my costumes or set"

Insane- "creepy... gross. Evil, villains"

Silent- he shakes his head, grasping his blade tighter, hate behind his eyes- where does he keep getting the blade???

Vapid- "they are important, without them our world would not function. Remeber kids, if you want to burn something, burn plastic, not ants" vapid winks

Assassin- "i have more important things to deal with then bugs. I couldn't careless about them"

Princesses:

The Fairy- "i love bugs! They are all my friends, kind and considerate little buddys that kept me sane

The Frost- "I think someone would call me a bug. So i can't say i enjoy them much. Also they can't live inside the cabin, so I've never actually seen one"

The Lunatic- "bugs???

The Victim- "i, do you like bugs? If you do then yeah they- they are nice but um... if you dont like em? I'll... i'll get rid of them for you??? Im sorry- i dont know what to say-"

The Diva- "they eat my dressed, 1/10 would not like to see again"

The Brat- "bugs are gross! Ew"

Insane- "insane! Creepy, lovely~"

Fool- "a fun loving thespian~ im good at remembering lines and improvisation. Funny, good at what i do, flexible, and can yes and unlike SOME people"

Naive- "friendly, and kind! I really dont think theres anyone i dont like! Heh"

Silent- he stares for a bit, Oppertunist speaking for him "serous, angry, short fused~" silent shoves him.

Vapid- "Honest, loyal, kind, funny, generous, magical~"

Assassin- "keen eyed, job focused, and i dont get scared over silly things. Nothing will deter me from my job"

And because i take that as EVERYONE everyone, lets ask the princesses too

The Frost- "cold... isn't that fitting?"

The fairy- "kind, trust worthy~ i would never do anything to hurt anyone, and have no plans outside of living a normal life as a normal girl"

The Lunatic- "Unhinged, insane, mad, kuku, crazy, nuts, bonkers- take your pick really. Also mad."

The Victim- "weak...? I- I dont know what answer you want from me... Im sorry, I hope that suffices..."

The Diva- "a shining light in the night sky! A tree bending in the wind~ a quiet river full of happy creatures... and also a mast at theater~!"

The Brat- "A girl trapped in a tower. What more is there to know?"
