Janet’s Comic Inspiration in Ant Man And The Wasp

Janet seeing Ava’s pain and healing her is so representative of Janet's personality in the comics. Being the ‘emtional’ one, the one who cared about team morale. Instead of jumping to brute force with Ava who wanted to kill her and almost drained her life, Janet still helped her. Listen, Janet is what the MCU really needs. Being stuck for 30 years and still being cheerful, inspiring and loving??

Also, she always looked stylish. I’m reaching, but I know fashion is in her blood still. And OF COURSE, she found clothing in the quantum realm.

In the comics, Janet was lost in the ‘microverse’, a place similar to the movie’s quantum realm. When hank found Jan in the movie, it reminded me of this comic moment. The weapon, flowing cloth and assumption of danger until she is revealed.

Anyway, I criticize the MCU a lot and am still bothered how they treated Janet, but I still enjoyed what I got to see of her. I hope to see her more. Prequal marvel???
