Sleeping in wasn't exactly Babs' thing, but as of lately it seemed more than needed, what with all the nightmares. She needed to be rejuvenated if she were going to keep up with Steph tonight.

Kurt just whined pitifully when Dick pinned him on the sofa. Chest down ass half up as he tried to wiggle out his arm behind his back being held by the other. “You made your point Dick, you get the remote.” He huffed tilting his face to look up at the other sticking his tongue out at him as he did so. “Do not make me kick you.”

It was no secret that Garth did not like royal balls. They were long, dull, and the prince of Atlantis had much more important things to do than listen to very boring strangers try to make small talk. 

Just as the boy was planning on grabbing some food and sneaking away for the remainder of the evening, he noticed another guest around his age. After considering his options for a minute or two (and eating the armful of food he was currently holding) the prince made his way over. The boy was probably only a few years older than him, he decided, but he was by far the only guest close to his age. 

"Hello." His hands folded behind his back as he stepped in front of the stranger.

Brudick isn’t really one of my pairings, so I’ll make it gen, but angst-tastic.

Alfred had already excused himself, and Dick didn’t blame him. You could only stare at the corpse of a child for so long. 

Damian had only ever wanted a family, and when he got one, they got him killed. And people still had the audacity to call them heroes.

Dick sighed shakily, “Ever wonder if the world would be better off without you…?”

Bruce nodded, reaching out and taking gentle hold of Damian’s lifeless hand. “His would have been.”
