I applied for a job as an LD at a church in Colorado. I would have been designing at the broadcast campus out of their 5 campuses.

What’s stopping me?

It’s only part time at $19/hr with no benefits. I wouldn’t be able to afford my medical expenses, student loans, and housing out in Colorado with only $19 an hour for approximately 25 hours a week.

COVID sucks y’all. I just graduated and I have absolutely no idea when I’ll actually be able to get a job in my field.

So ready to get back to working on a show full time! I’ve been on break, and I’m itching to start getting my show going! It’s my first head management gig, I’m really excited. I’ve been working really hard in theatre for so many years, and now I finally get to put my name on a show as it’s head manager. I have a team that I can’t wait to spend time with. One has never asm’d before, or even taken a management class. But holy shit does she have the strong instincts for it. I’ve worked multiple shows with her crewing, she saved our shows ass this last semester, and she’s a well rounded technician. I’m very excited. I’m prepping everything the best I can.
