It was a normal, ordinary day last December when I decided to catch up on some of the series on my To Watch list. I thought hmm, this one has three seasons but let's try the first episode, and BAM! Long story short, I now have a Tumblr account.

I'll give you ONE guess whose fault that is...

So, to all you amazing The Musketeers and Salvation people... THANK YOU! You're part of the reason why this account exists. Also to all the content creators of favourites like SG-1, SGA, Farscape, Star Trek: Enterprise, The Brave, Supernatural, Star Wars, etc. It's amazing to rediscover the love for these shows and movies!

I mean when really put in that situation, would you really.. would you really give up your life? Do you really love something or someone that much? Raphael's family and other people have placed themselves on the side of this dump, a very large junk pile where they can live off scavenge bits of materials, they can sell them for a few pennies and feed themselves. In a certain sense when the film begins Raphael is already dead, he feels a complete failure as a husband as a father, he's unable to provide to his family, he just can't bear to see his family suffering so much, his two little kids and the little boy that he's probably going to grow up and be just like him. So Raphael condemning himself to death by sacrificing his life for his family, in a weird way at that moment he learns to live again, he takes his first breath probably in many years. -He now feels that this money can bring them out of this abject poverty, this horrible life that they live. He's now able to provide for them, so the money is in many ways evil. In this world we can't live without,in this society that we live, money has kind of oddly replaced spirituality and God or whatever you want to call it. Money it's become power but paradoxically it's become life itself. JD talking about Raphael - The Brave- is a 1997 independent drama film. This film was Depp's directorial debut. Johnny Depp co-wrote the screenplay with his brother. The film was first shown at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival where it received generally negative reviews. It was released in theaters and on DVD internationally, but not in the United States. The Brave family

Last night after re-watching episode 7 I realized that The Brave ground crew is like one big family.

Amir is the mom, cooking breakfast in the morning.

Preach is the dad, trying to steal food while mom is cooking.

Dalton is the elder brother who is up early along with mom and dad and works out with dad in the mornings.

While Jaz and McG are the younger siblings who get up late and only after they smell mom’s cooking.
