For so long, I was afraid of these appointments and putting this robe on. Afraid that each visit was ticking down to finding a suspicious lump. To go experience what my mom had to go through. Now two years out from my #doublemastectomy, I’m not afraid of these appointments or this robe anymore. While my risk of #breastcancer has been dramatically reduced, I still go to my doctors to talk all things #brca. I’m lucky to have a community of badass women there to support me when I need it. Don’t let the fear of the what if’s rule you like it did for me for all those years. . . . . . . . . . @the_breasties @centralflorida_breasties #thebreasties #breastie #previvor #brca1 #movemountains #mountainmover #breastreconstructionsurgery #empowered #internationalwomensday (at Orlando Health Cancer Institute) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMKk7H7l61g/?igshid=15ws4z6gxvlw0
