Red: Pretty sure you don't need a penis.
Cry: But it's fun!
Russ: Oh yeah, totally.
Red: Oh, rub it in my face why don't- No wait, don't.
Texting from Grocery Store
Me: Do you want the chocolate ice cream w/fudge ribbon & mini peanut butter cups? OR the chocolate ice cream w/chocolate cookies & swirls of chocolate pudding ice cream?
Red: Oh man... Uh...
Red: Mini peanut butter cups one.
Me: Alrighty!
Red: That's the hardest decision I have had to make in a long time.
Some Couplets for Casey
A response to A Kouplet For Karl, published on the refrigerator 2/10/2016.
I accept your offer to show me love in ways That don't require your verbal praise. Although I do take issue with the claim That it's your lack of skill that is to blame.
I find your wit both quick and delightful, The thoughts you share poignant and insightful. I admire the depth and breadth of your vocabulary, And consider you in debate a worthy adversary.
I feel that I am incredibly blessed, And have no doubt you'll do your best. But without even trying your words are art, That have the effect of a thousand suns shining on my heart.
It can be tough to do romance right. Even heartfelt gestures can seem trite. But I’m blessed with the task And do eagerly ask - Will you see Deadpool with me tomorrow night?
You also make me feel like this.
How was Halloween for the two of you?
I enjoyed it!
Maybe Red will add her two cents, but I enjoyed seeing her Halloween machinations take shape and come to life. All with the assurance that this is just the beginning.
I mean, to faithfully create what she’s imagining would be a major undertaking to be sure. So she wisely decided early on that this year would be the first of several developmental ones, until we’ve amassed the full menagerie of decorations that will do justice to her vision. The comments from the trick-or-treaters were encouraging, so I’m sure each year will be progressively memorable - for us and them.
I also liked seeing Red in her costume, cuz she’s hot…
