Current situation: Patiently waiting to go on an adventure with my mama visiting NYC for the weekend to celebrate her big birthday! . . Note on the shoes. I first saw these red gazelles on Kate Moss back in a magazine in the 90s. It was a candid shot of her at a party. If she had not been credited at the bottom of the photo you'd never known it was her. The photographer was more interested in the short hemline of her dress and the red adidas. Funny how things stick with you. I know these shoes have been around for ages but they never seemed to be within my grasp: not offered at the mall in small town Tennessee, sold out in my size online, behind a window of a store closed for Shabbat in Jerusalem the day before I flew home.
