The Fremen 

“The Fremen inhabit the desert planet Arrakis (also known as Dune), which is the sole known source in the universe of the all-important spice melange . Long overlooked by the rest of the Imperium and considered backward savages, the Fremen are in reality an extremely hardy people and exist in large numbers. Fremen are distinguished by their fierce fighting abilities and adeptness at survival in these conditions. With water such a rare commodity on the planet, their culture revolves around its preservation and conservation”.

In my Dune Fremen redesign, I imagined that Fremen have protective/camouflage cloaks. They also have sound operated guns. They have to shout into the transmitter around their mouth, which transmits the power of the sound to the weapon, which shoots a powerful charge. Out on Arrakis, their special suits allow them to preserve water from their body fluids. Their sweat and urine are cleaned by the suit and converted into crystal clear water.
