Eternal Bond || Max & Rosalind

[♫] — If there was anyone Max missed during his time away from the archipelago --- from home --- it was, without a doubt, the person most important to him in life. His lovely, dearest, baby sister. Rosalind had been away from home herself, studying and seeking out that cure for the common cold no doubt, and the heir had missed her greatly.

So to find that she had already returned to Leuda, a mere month before he had, was the best news he could have ever heard. After reuniting with his darling sister, and shedding more than a few tears, he makes immediate plans for them to go out on the town and catch up.

And what better way to do that than one of their age-old traditions: shopping together! 

“So Rosie, tell me: where would you like to go first?” Everything would be his treat, of course.

Flower Deliveries

In order to avoid the delivery costs, Luke sets out early in the morning for his patrol shift and delivers the flowers to his other close friends and family himself. Each person gets a small bouquet of three flowers: a yellow rose, a yellow tulip, and a white Lisianthus. They’re tied together with a neat white ribbon and attached to each bouquet is a small note written in Luke’s messy-but-legible handwriting. 

Happy Flower Festival! I hope you guys enjoy these flowers because I picked them out with special meaning. Yellow Rose means friendship and caring. I care about you and consider you a friend. Yellow Tulip means cheerful thoughts. Always stay positive! And white lisianthus (hard to say out loud) means appreciation. I appreciate you being a part of my life and I hope it stays that way! The flowers are left at the doorstep of each person and Luke continues on with his shift, anxious to return home to see Sofia and give her her own special flower delivery. Save the best for last, right?

A small bouquet containing a yellow rose, a sunflower, and a white lisianthus are sent to each of the above mentioned. The bouquet is tied with a small white ribbon and the ribbon is curled so the ends are decorative. Attached to each bouquet is a small note card with golden embossing to decorate the front. On the other side, there is some writing in Margaret’s elegant handwriting.

Thank you so much for being a part of my life. You are each important to me as a valued friend and someone I am happy to hold precious memories with. Even if we’ve only recently met or known each other for years, I hope that each and every one of you lives a peaceful and prosperous life. This Flower Festival is the perfect time for me to express my gratitude to you all and send you all my best wishes.

Gifts for Family

When it came to family, Luke did his best to put a lot of thought into the gifts he got for them. At least, he hoped that it came across that way. Each gift that he dropped off to the receivers came with a little note.
