does your muse seek glory & accolades , or do they favour a simpler , more personal life ?
Lyrin’a has zero interest in glory or fame or reward. There was a time where his aspirations were to travel Eorzea and sweep the land with whatever healing he could give it. He dreamed big. As he grew older and after the Calamity he realized how small a drop in the ocean he is and his sights turned to a much smaller, more realistic, but no less important goal of promoting peace and healing right where he was. He was and is content to live and die in obscurity. Frankly the issues he finds himself tangled up in now stress him because he doesn’t think he’s up to the task of such an important fight.
did your muse ever feel as though their innocence had been lost ? what moment in their life could be described as the end of their innocence ?
Lyrin would say innocence dies in bits in pieces rather than all at once. He wouldn’t be able to pinpoint an exact time for himself but he might wax on about the abstract. The first time you experience death, the first time you see cruelty or feel undeserved pain. Realizing the sometimes futility of your efforts and understanding that sometimes you can do everything right and still lose. That sometimes life simply isnt fair, the good aren’t saved and that evil can linger on and on without justice. Sometimes innocence is only ignorance and it’s loss only makes the trying more meaningful.
