@thegertie (RurouniHime) - Lovely person, awesome blog, brilliant writer! Used Sparingly and Limited Time Offer are such fandom classics for me. But I've also never forgotten about 'Picky, Picky'!

"Draco, do you think you're in love with him?" Draco snorted again and waved his hand. "That's preposterous." When she said nothing, he frowned at her. "It's too soon." She leaned forward very gently. "Is it?" Draco did not answer.

14 and 29, please! 😍
14. easiest character to write?
Tony! I love him. He tries so hard.
29. favorite story/poem of another author?
I can’t possibly pick just one. The ones I reread a lot are Never Too Late for Love by @sineala, In the Stillness of Remembering by @elise509 and As Sharp as Any Thorn by, ahem, @thegertie. They all have different feels to them, but all present complex, beautifully written characterizations and stories, and some of the language used is beyond incredible. I love words.
Reading Orbital Mechanics (because dayum), and thinking, man, Steve has some serious issues with self here, and also that I love that type of angst, and suddenly up pops this Ask: a future scene where Steve has reverted to pre-serum!Steve and is freaking out about what this means for his current bond with Tony. (Oh, and ? because it's an Ask and there should probably be a question mark...)
He does have a ton of issues with self, doesn’t he? I think that would be right for him in that situation. We don’t really have much to compare it to, but I kind of think back to my high school years when I was overweight, had terrible perm, bad teeth, bad skin...then in college, I lost a lot of weight (too much, really) and let’s say “blossomed.” All of a sudden, everyone treated me differently, but I didn’t feel different. A lot of times, I didn’t see myself so differently, like I’d pick out what I would think was the correct size pants only to find they were 4 sizes too big. Clearly, Steve has a lot of trauma beyond just the issues with self and body, but I think that plays a part in not knowing who he is and how to define himself. He knows a lot of what happens to him is strictly because of the serum, but he still feels very much like this little guy, except he *isn’t* and he knows it. So, it’s just very disconcerting, I think? And then add in trying to figure out how he fits into this time and this world...it’s a lot for anyone.
To your ask, I think that would be absolutely fascinating. You should write it! Heh. See what I did there.
Look who is TWO today!! Happy birthday Gertie!! 🎉 #thegertie (at Pasadena, California)
Look who turned 1 today!!! #thegertie
Gertie is not a fan of her new brother. Unless we're talking about breakfast. 😳 #thegertie #sadsue (mom squirrel never came to retrieve him, so he lives here for now)
this is by far the best description I’ve ever read about Steve Rogers: This guy is so perfectly proportioned that Mother Nature must have gone out and punched all her other creations afterward, just on principle.
