The Grace 

During my twenty-one years on Earth, the biggest question for me has always, and will always be religion. 

Even as a young child I felt a selfish draw towards the Lord. Like I was meant to be raised in a religion of familiarity but my God forgot to flip the switch. 

So I set out on a search. 

I live in a major metropolitan city, and through my spiritual journey I felt like I was at a point where I was not getting what I wanted from my relationship with the Lord. And I felt like even though I was so easily able to be sucked into the world of religon, I had never even entertained the opportunity to my full extent. So for every single Sunday, starting in the month of April (April, Easter, resurrection, lol), I was going to go to a different church in the surrounding area, no rhyme or reason to order really, but as all things are, there are rules. 

I was going to write about my experiences. 

I was not going to go to a church again until AFTER I had already gone to however many were on my list, no matter how I felt. 

I was not going to tell whoever I met at the church about my quest, as I felt like it would be frowned upon, I’m not sure why, but I also knew I was going to go to different churches with different levels of conservatism, and I didn’t want people to be upset with me for any reason.

I have the ability to make new rules for my safety, but the goal of this is to make me uncomfortable, to push the limits and to answer my questions, and I cant do that if I am comfortable. 

All churches and interactions would have no real names attached for anonymity reasons. 

So with these rules set, I set out on my quest. I was to find the Holy Spirit, or maybe the Holy Spirit was to find me.
