The Halal Guys Gyro Platter

You know, you come back last week and you automatically forget that you did so instead of taking a nice photo of the beef gyro platter before you eat it all you get is a photo of trash.  Speaking of trash, have you heard the one about the trash can and my dog? Don’t worry about if if you haven’t. It’s rubbish.  How many variations of that have been said over the millennia? Is The Halal Guys’ white sauce just ranch dressing? It tastes similar and I am sure there are articles I could look up to figure out what is actually in it, but I am too lazy so I will just speculate that it is and agree with myself. It’s ranch dressing. But why ranch dressing?

I haven’t had gyro anything in a while so the rice and a little of the salad with the ranch dressing and hot sauce was a nice little meal for me on this hot, hot LA day. What is about gyro meat, whether beef or lamb, that makes it so good?   Is it the garlic? The marjoram? Is anybody listening to a word I’m typing?

Anyways, the crunchy beef is the best part. Crisping up on the spits. It’s meat magic. I wish they could all be crunchy little bits.
