#JackedKirby - The Howler aka The Primal Entity!!!! 💥💥💥 There are no shortage of creepy, kooky monsters to come from the head of Jack during his years as a comic book creator... this is especially true during his run on The Demon for DC in the mid 70s. One of those creatures is The Primal Entity aka The Howler, a werewolf like monster that is actually a centuries old spirit that possesses the body of unsuspecting victims!!! 💥💥💥 When Jason Blood (Etrigan the Demon) is finishing up a mission in Transylvania he hears a blood curdling howl that puts all the local residents on high alert and stars an instant panic. Determined to find out just what could make such a blood curdling racket, Jason decides to seek out the monster while the rest of the villagers hide in terror!!! 💥💥💥 While riding in the woods on horseback Jason is attacked by the monster... and he transforms into his own monster to fight him off (pics 2-5)!!! The result is a knock down, drag out fight between these two mythical creatures and it’s one for the ages!!! 💥💥💥 The rest of the story involves the Howler’s alter ego, Dr Eric Schiller, following Jason back to Gotham City and then working together to exercise the ancient spirit inside of him that causes him to manifest into the Howler. Schiller dies, but not before the Primal Entity is able to transfer to another host... 💥💥💥 Jack executed this monster in awesome fashion, creating an extra special werewolf that is both scary and much larger/threatening in nature.
