Crash

Aryn sniffed the air, tilting her head with curiousness. There was... something just outside her dimension; and Aryn suddenly wanted to know what. She opened her wings-as she had shifted into her dragon form earlier-and took flight.

It wasn't long before she got to her sky, feeling the limit of her world. Magic washed over as Aryn crossed into the dimension of whatever she was feeling.

What Aryn did not expect was to cross into a bloody room. Her head hit violently the ceiling with a mighty crashing sound as her wings were forced to fold against her body. Said body curled on itself, trying to fit in the room.

Aryn thanked the smallest of luck she had, as the room was just big enough for her curled body.

Cyber Takeover | Lauren & The Doctor

The sky had faded, turning an ever so dark shade of deep blue, signalling night was among the town. The soles of her boots thudded against the pavement with each step she took, the sound echoing in her ears. Her destination was ahead, merely half a block, but something told her she would make it. The shrill sounds of screaming came within earshot, following by the sounds of metallic marching, causing her body to become stiff. "You will be upgraded! You will be deleted! You will be like us!" The chanting could be heard through the robotic voices, but with each word spoken, her heart thudded against her chest. It was clear that she wouldn't be able to do her shopping, she could turn around and return to her flat until everything died down, but she was dead wrong. The same marching soon echoed from behind her, the creatures exiting from the alley on her left, causing the female to back away. Their hollow eyes stared holes through her, never once showing an ounce of emotion, but then again - they were completely metal. It was a suit made out of armor, surely it couldn't be too hard to take out. 

Stopping dead in her tracks, she waited for the creatures to grow closer, then she kicked - her foot aiming at the metal leg. It hurt her far more than it affected the creatures. "You will be deleted!" The creature shouted, raising its arm. With instinct coursing through her, she ducked down, letting the laser blast the wall behind her. The chunks of brick pelted her, but she wasn't about to let that stop her, she had to escape. She weaved her way through the robotic beings, running as fast as her body would allow. Constantly she peered over her shoulder in fear of being struck, but each time the ray was sent her way, she narrowly managed to escape. It wasn't long before she found herself trapped with no way out, except the double way alley to her left - oh how she loved the invention. She ran inside the darkened space, finding herself not alone, but before she could stop - she plowed straight into the other. Her balance was thrown off and she left, landing onto the hard ground. "Please don't hurt me!" She cried, pushing herself up. It wasn't one of the creatures, she didn't fell metal when she collided.

The Doctor took the sonic, aimed it at the ropes binding her and flicked it on, burning parts of the rope. He then gently pulled her out of the bindings. “Now then, allons-y!” He smiled as he took Aurora’s hand and began to run out of the building.

Aurora pulled the ropes off of her, taking hold of the Doctor's hand. Running along with him to escape the building. As they made it out the doors, the entire building exploded. Pieces from the building went flying all overt the place. The blast was powerful enough to knock anyone off their feet.
