It’s the way G smiles when D shows up, it’s their banter, it’s the way they touch each other, the way she always leans into his shoulder, the way she giggles whenever he is around, the way he tries to make her laugh with a joke, the way he seems to be proud of himself when he manages to make a joke that she understands and finds funny, the way she says his full name in the middle of a sentence, it’s the comfort level between them, it’s the way he tends to physically protect her, the way she always finds an excuse to touch him (including dusting off something from his clothes), the way he often privately asks her if she is ok when they are doing a public appearance together, the way they flirt with each other, the way they sometimes like to do their own thing together despite everyone around them not doing the same, the way she often puts an arm inside his jacket when they do a photoshoot together, how honest they are with each other when they have a conversation, it’s the kisses from the Cutting Room and the Jimmy Kimmel skit. No, I don’t believe everything people say about them. But I have eyes. I have ears. And there are things that are just there. Things that nobody can deny. And it’s why I will never be completely over them. I just can’t forget. ⚫️
So well said, anon ❤ in the end I just want them to be happy. I don’t know them personally, of course, but I grew up watching them on my screen and to pretend I don’t care is silly. It’s all these things you listed. Whenever they’re together there is a kind of magic that happens. No matter what I may think of them individually at any given moment, this just doesn’t go away.
