24: do you like to watch the credits of a film? Yess I always like to watch credits (especially marvel) so I lowkey get frustrated when I watch movies on netflix bc it like cuts to suggested stuff

I’ve always wondered if people say it in other countries… I guess not… Like in every school in the U.S. they say it in the morning. At my elementary school we also said the Texas pledge.

I have never pledged allegiance to the British flag. XD It just seems crazy to me, man.

Do you have any head canons about hobbies Ed may have picked up after giving up his ability to do alchemy? I always wonder about it because I can't picture him doing much else other than maybe doing things around the house for Winry!

hmm, well I always figured Ed would be like the stay at home parent while Winry had her automail business to run, so I figured he'd be the one to do a lot of the stuff around the house! Idk I feel like he would still be interested in alchemy and still research and read about it, and I think he would write and maybe publish stuff about alchemy and philosophy and stuff like that?? Yeah! And he'd prob travel too, but take his family this time lol

For the past month I've been trying to teach myself Japanese using memories and Tae Kim's grammar guide. They are helpful but sometimes I just don't understand so I'm trying to find more learning tools so I can get more comprehensive information. most of them are better suited for people who already know some Japanese... and I'm absolute beginner... Do you have any suggestions for websites or videos or even books I could buy that you think are helpful? Sorry if the message is confusing.. Thanks!

OK, so on my uni course at Japanese we use the whole Minna no Nihongo set and progress that way. I'd say the grammar books from that are really good and straightforward, but then again I had teaching to reinforce that. Additionally they're very expensive. My textbooks this year cost me the same as a return flight to St Petersburg *grumbles*

http://japanese.about.com/library/blbeginner.htm looks quite useful. Phrases are often romanised, though, which from my point of view actually hinders you in the long term (my advice is to learn writing systems straight away so you don't associate Japanese pronunciation with the pronunciation of a language which uses the Latin alphabet)
