TUMBLR THEME ERROR CODE

Since Tumblr stopped using “HTTP” most of the tumblr themes codes won’t work. It usually says “We couldn’t save your theme. Looks like your custom theme references assets from non-HTTPS URLs. Please try again using only HTTPS URLs”

But there is a really easy way to fix this! 

All you need to do is copy that code theme and paste it in. Then you click CTRL + F and in “Search for” type http and in “Replace with” you type https then you click ALL. 

The next step you need to do is to put in “Search for” httpss and in “Replace with” https and click all again. Click update preview and save.

And your code should be working just fine!

BIRDS: THE THEME

It’s been a while since I released a code, all my old ones are probably broken at this point but I’m working on updating them as well. In the mean time I worked on cleaning up the one I’ve been using as a base for release to the public. 

POST SIZE: 400 

BACKGROUND: Can be anything, you don’t have to know photoshop or coding as much to use this theme.

CONTAINERS: They aren’t transparent, the color of the background matches the color of the containers for both the sidebar and the posts. The shadows are ACCENT1, a color meta. 

Any image can be the background, the containers make themselves.

A simple, clean theme I made for my RP blog with a bunch of customization options.

So is staff trying to make us use their themes now? Because I’ve tried to change my theme on two blogs from two different makers and it’s telling me the samething. Basically I can’t use their codes.

all of my theme and page codes are now ‘external link’ free (aka, not relying on ‘http’ for external variations of .js etc) - which means that you won’t have any issues with features when themes are installed if you would like to keep your SSL switched ON!  -- it took a bit of time to work through ( over 100 codes! ) but they’re all done and now your themes will install just fine on new blogs or SSL active blogs!
