Love that Claudia calls the mirror "stubborn" (derogatory). Not only is it consistent in the language she and Viren uses ("you are being stubborn and ungrateful" / "he is hard headed" "you mean stubborn") but it's also a fun parallel between how Aaravos and Harrow are described, given y'know, the thematic opposition of them all. And Aaravos is, after all, Deeply stubborn.
"You don't need to do this right now, Rayla." "Yes, I do." / "Claudia, you don't have to do this." / "You don't need to do this." / "I thought they were necessary. Now I don't know." / "I tried to explain I had only done what was necessary." / "I have to do this. I don't want to, but I have to"
"Free your prisoners" -> "And this binding will never come off so long as he's alive": basically that there's this interesting consistent framing of the kids being imprisoned by their proximity/attachment to each other. Corvus sets up arc 1's sunnier, cleaner dichotomy (prisoners vs friends, friends equalling choice) but Rayla's sets up arc 2's thornier, more consistent one (love and your bonds with other people can imprison and entrap you, whether through grief, desperation, etc. "It seems to me that love has a tighter grip on you than those chains around your wrists, so I'll do you a favour and set you free," etc). Either way it's interesting
